NutriChef Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven 4.7L, Round Heavy-Duty Porcelain Enamel Coated Casserole Pot with Self-Basting Lid, Kitchen Baking Pot, Red

I bought this with some trepidation as a warning came up to say it was frequently returned. However i’m glad I did buy following a read through of some of the reviews. As with all cast iron products it needs to be looked after and cared for properly to get the best out of them. From my use of it there are a couple of points I would raise, 1. Follow the instructions supplied, even though it says it is Pre-seasoned it still needs to be seasoned - it explains how to do this in the instructions. 2. Ignore the measurement/weight picture in the Amazon product photo gallery. I’ve added photos below with the weight and measurements of the product I received (and the screen shot from the product page), but in a nut shell, It’s is 11.5cm high without the lid, 16cm with the lid, approx. 31cm width from tip of handle to tip of handle and weighs 5.023Kg. It’s not too heavy as cast iron goes, but it obviously get’s heavier when it’s full. I cook with it on the BBQ, so it does get very hot and fireproof gloves are essential. Again the instructions that come with it explain how to care for and clean the product and following these I’ve had absolutely no issues, just great BBQ’d food.

This iron pot very heavy. I love that it’s non stick, great quality and will last for a while!

Good heavy duty cast iron pot good for casseroles and soups in large quantities

I haven’t used it yet, so cannot review the cooking ability or heat retention. The quality looks very good and I love the red colour. However, the important criticism I have is the that size and weight as shown in the photos of the listing are incorrect. The listing photos show that the height to the top of the lid is 12cm. However, it is actually 12cm only to the rim of the pot without the lid. The height with the lid on, not including the knob, is 15cm. The weight is shown as being 9kg. Lifting the pot made it obvious to me that it weighs more than 9kg. So I weighed it — the pot without the lid weighs 9kg; with the lid it weighs 13kg.

I love this. Use it all the time , stovetop and oven. Still looks like new!

Ottimo accessorio di cucina ma dalla fattura approssimata dopo tre volte già saltato smalto sotto al coperchio

Prodotto top, mi sono trovata molto bene, segnalo però che è molto pesante e che sono cadute alcune gocce di acqua sul coperchio e si è lesionato, sembra corroso. Sarebbe stato utile che ci fosse scritto da qualche parte che non sarebbe dovuto entrare in contatto con acqua anche se pur minima.

This is amazing pot. If taken care of correctly, it could easily last a lifetime.
