I have always used established and, sometimes, expensive brands of scales. These were a last-minute 'next day' buy intended only as a temporary emergency set of scales after the display on my third set of Heston Blumenthal scales stopped working. The Eono unit is accurate, easy to use, durable (so far) and easy to clean (damp cloth and stainless steel cleaning cloth after each use). Performance-wise, they work as well as devices that are three or four times as expensive. I do a lot of cooking, and the scales are used regularly, and mine are still working fine after six months. The only potential down sides to consider are: the unit is very small and it can be a bit awkward to balance larger mixing bowls on them and be able to see the display clearly, so sometimes you have to fiddle around a bit to get the bowl in the right position. In honesty, it's not caused me any concerns, but my partner does find it annoying sometimes. The only other potential problem is that the scales are super lightweight and slim, so care needs to be taken not to drop them or to store them where they might get crushed.

It’s a great weight scale for the kitchen. Speak and slim design, light and with many function like grams, pounds etc… The battery lasts forever and the scale is sturdy even if you drop for mistake. Needed new kitchen scales and this set are perfect. Simple to use, I put the bowl on before turning in the scales then the scales are at zero when measuring cereals, rice or any other ingredients. The scales are small enough to do the job and also easily stored in a draw. Well worth the price I paid, I'm very pleased with the scales

I would love to give more stars, but cannot as these scales worked perfectly for almost 2 years, as expected. I am worried that this is the world we live in now, that you dont get a product that lasts, scales where used not often maybe once or twice a week, so very light use. Then suddenly while getting ingredients ready for a brownie batch, they stop working. I had to complete the batch using cup measurements. Unfortunately i wont be buying again.
