Review: Good as New - As advertised. Came in factory original Centurylink packaging, like purchased directly from Centurylink. Works as expected.
Review: drops connection, no set-up help - Luckily I figured out how to connect my computer to the modem to get the password as it was NOT the one on the modem and even resetting the modem would not take it back to that password. THEN, I realized my phone no longer works and I need a splitter. But without and then with the splitter, internet keeps disconnecting every few hours. Unbearable. Returning.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You need the correct username and password to set up!

Hopefully this helps the next person buying a modem from Amazon! So the modem took a bit to set up and we could have saved time if we knew the procedure. At first, my husband was trying to set it ip alone and didn’t know that we needed the PPPoE Username and password from Centurylink. When I got home I tried to put the PPPoE username/password in (I was given a @centurylink.net username/password by the set up wizard). That didn’t work so we started a chat with centurylink. They sent me the same info I had already put in, and it still didn’t work. The representative said I needed to call and then immediately disconnected our session. They were little help. We didn’t think the modem was going to work. I sat there stewing with anger for about 30 min when I noticed that the info that the representative sent me excluded the “@centurlink.net” portion that the set up wizard gave me. I went ahead and deleted the @centurylink.net and internet connected! Wish I would have know right at the beginning. Would have saved a lot of time and frustration!
