I always forgot to use it before bed and chaotically put it on my face in the day time. It did nothing for me so I bought it again and used it exactly as instructed. My dark acene marks have actually faded more than they ever have! That's so crazy because nothing else has worked! Use it at night or else it could not work for you like it did with me at first. I know it's a bit pricey for such a small bottle but you only need the tiniest amount on your marks and it works. I recommend it! Try it out! Also, it doesn't have any harsh smells. Sidenote: I'm black so if you're worried about it working for brown skin, it works well for me and I'm not light at all!

So this works great, but I’m not giving it 5/5 for 2 reasons. 1. It kinda smells like pancake syrup. I don’t mind it and it doesn’t dry sticky but it was definitely a little bit of a weird thing to get used to lol. 2. It can irritate your skin if you’re not careful. Like other retinols I’ve used, this one made me break out a bit and I did have a little bit of chemical burning (user error) because I mixed it with some other products that I forgot had glycolic acid in them. Aside from that, this made my skin texture super even and helped get rid of dark spots/acne scars alongside the use of some scar gel. If you buy it, remember to use sunscreen the following day and avoid using products with other acids!
