These dog nail clippers exceeded my expectations. The blades are sharp enough to make clean, smooth cuts without crushing the nails, and the handles have a comfortable, non-slip grip that makes trimming much easier. They feel sturdy and well made, and the safety guard adds extra confidence while clipping. My dog stayed much calmer than usual, probably because the clippers worked quickly and efficiently. Finally found nail clippers that make trimming time way less stressful for my maltipoo. He's only 15lbs and pretty sensitive about his paws, but the small/medium size is exactly right — not bulky or awkward like some of the "one size fits all" clippers that are clearly made for bigger dogs. The blade is sharp enough that it's a quick, clean cut instead of that crunching feeling that used to make him flinch. Since his nails are on the thinner side, I was worried about accidentally overdoing it, but the safety guard gives me enough control that I feel confident instead of anxious every time. Handle is comfortable and easy to grip one-handed, which is clutch when you're also trying to hold a squirmy little dog still with the other hand. Doesn't feel cheap or flimsy at all.

I really like these clippers. They're very sharp and cuts my dog's toenails without leaving them frayed or splintered. They make a very clean cut. Would definitely buy again

Very nice clippers. I have an XL bully and his nails are not small. These cut with no issues. Very little chipping. Which if you know how a dog can squirm through the process, you know it happens. The guard is nice too. Although I don't need it, some may. My dog has clear nails. If your dog has black or dark nails, use the guard. Great for bigger dogs!! Sharp blades. Idk about the file. My dog is very antsy with things like that. Well made so should last some years.

Sharp. They cut cleanly. I had to back off the nut holding them together just a little bit because the spring wasn't strong enough to reopen them. I also used a little bit of oil on them. After that touch up they worked very smoothly and easily. There is a cap on them that is designed to keep you from cutting too deep, but I wouldn't advise you to use it. It is much safer to see how much you are removing. Pay very close attention to the quick within the nail, if you can see it, so that you don't cut too deeply and cause pain and bleeding. The included file is useless. I use a pet nail grinder to round off the edges after a trim and maybe grind them down a little bit more. Grinding is much safer than cutting but you can't grind off a quarter of an inch unless you have all day.

I have both a Golden Retriever and a Chocolate Lab, so I needed nail clippers that were actually strong enough to handle thick nails without struggling. These worked PERFECTLY. It gave me extra peace of mind while trimming and helped prevent cutting too far. The handles are also super comfortable and non-slip, which is helpful when you have dogs that like to wiggle around. They feel sturdy, well-made, and professional quality without being difficult to use. Both of my dogs tolerated nail trims much better with these because the cuts were smooth and quick. Definitely recommend for anyone with medium to large dogs!

These nail clippers are a great value for the money. They are high-quality and they are a perfect size for our dogs’ nails (our dogs are around 20 pounds). The clippers are easy to use. The spring did fall out during one use, but we were able to find it and put it back in.

Excellent clippers for my new puppy, have had these for two months and used them on average weekly. Once I worked out how to get her to stay still for her nails to be clipped (frozen Greek yoghurt on a licky mat) these were super easy to use. Love the safety catches as well. Lovely and sharp, easy to hold as well. I wear a head torch to ensure I don't get my dog's quick (although accidents do occasionally happen), and ensure I use the file to smooth the nails out so they don't scratch. Very pleased with the purchase and hope they last for a long time.

Non ci vuole una grande forza per fare il taglio in quanto sono bel affilate. La mia bassotta però non si fa tagliare le unghie quindi l'ho utilizzato pochissime volte

Ho acquistato questo tagliaunghie perché il mio cane ha le unghie scure e ho sempre il terrore di ferirlo. La luce LED integrata è una svolta: illumina chiaramente la linea di sangue (il quick) sulle unghie chiare e migliora tantissimo la visibilità generale anche su quelle scure.Le lame in acciaio inossidabile sono estremamente affilate e non sfilacciano l'unghia, garantendo un taglio netto al primo colpo. L'impugnatura è ergonomica e antiscivolo, offrendo una presa salda anche se il cane si muove. Molto utile anche il blocco di sicurezza per riporlo chiuso. Un acquisto consigliatissimo per la cura dei pet a casa.

Finally got the courage to trim my indoor cats nails (he dont like being held) I used the crocodile clip on the back of the neck method which immobilised him. My daughter then held him and I was able to trim all 4 paws in under 30 seconds. Easy to use, super sharpe and fool proof. I've never trimmed a cats nails before! Super happy I won't have to fork out £15 every 6 weeks!
