Some have simplistic designs and some more intricate, but none of them are overly complex or have extremely tiny details to try to color. All the numbers are a good size to read, but they will show through most colors and mediums after the picture is finished. There are 50 unique patterns to color with no duplicate images . There is a color chart on the back cover which gives both color examples as well as a generic color names for each number. You can either match your colors exactly to the colors shown, or use the generic names (like light blue, medium blue, dark blue, etc.) to pick your own hues. Also, 4 of the back pages contain custom color charts for you to fill in with the medium of your choice, 2 have the generic names of the colors as listed on the color chart on the back, and 2 are completely blank so you can choose your own color scheme entirely. This is a really nice feature I have not often come across in Color By Number books. However, you will have to cut the pages out of the back of the book if you want to look at them while you are coloring. The paper is a good quality, medium weight paper perfect for colored pencils, and there is a black ink backing on each page for pen and markers so the ink does not bleed through. I would advise using a piece of cardstock behind whatever picture you are coloring in, because the black ink will rub off faintly with even medium pressure and leave a ghost image of the pattern you are coloring on the page behind. On the black ink back of each page there is also a faint copy of the number code included. This is a nice touch as all of the color charts are found in the back of the book, however they do not have any way of actually adding the color to these for visual reference. I would have liked it if the color chart on the back of the page only listed the colors needed for the page across from it, but all the ink backs have the full 30 number color code listed so you have to first hunt through each pattern to figure out which numbers/colors you will use for that page. This is a really relaxing, frustration-free Color By Number book! Review: Great designs - The pages are very nice. This is a great quality book. You’ll spend hundreds of hours coloring away.

Pretty designs but could use more color list options
Great designs but the provided color list has too many shades of yellows, oranges and reds. Plus most marker sets don’t have that many different shades of the same color. I feel it needs multiple color lists so you don’t have to spend time trying to customize the list for every page you want to color.

Great Patterns
While I usually wound up picking my own colors, this book was great. There are a lot of pictures so it's great for killing time or unwinding.

Pages are all basically the same
Every page is practically the same and there are no perforations that allow you to tear out pages. I also would have preferred the color chart to be displayed on each page rather than having to flip the book over every time. Not a bad book, just disappointed and would rather the book have a better variety of patterns.

This is great for meditation and anxiety!
My best friend loves to color, I never even thought about it before. Adult coloring books?! Yay! I bought a TON of coloring books and realized, I got no dang clue on how to color. So I looked for ways to kind of teach me. I bought 2 of Jade Summers color by number books. At first it was to teach me how to color and what colors go best, so, I’m not that embarrassed to show off my messy coloring. I’m already a quarter thru the book! But it has taught me so much. But sometimes I did not like the color schemes of certain numbers so I went ahead and chose my own colors which I think came out pretty good. It’s hard to hide the numbers but with pastel gel pens u can cover the numbers right up. I started off with colored pencils. I bought a set and went to color in another book and I thought something was wrong with the set of pencils because they didn’t show up well and it hurt my hand tryina color and they kept breaking. So I bought colored pencils that sharpen themselves, crayola, zebra, these were better in terms of not breaking and having to sharpen all the time but still my hand hurt trying to fill in and shade the colors to my liking. So then I bought gel pens. And I haven’t looked back! Well the pencils come in handy when I need a skin tone color and mixing and matching with colored pencils and gel pens have been working out pretty great for me. All in all, I looooove patterns books. I first bought a Jade Summer patterns book as one of my first coloring books and man the first few pages are disastrous! Which is why I went for these ones and then my work became much better! I have anxiety and stuff so anything that will help me get thru panic attacks I will take it! So I put my headphones on, listen to music or podcast and I go to work in this book. Clearly I don’t need it to be perfect. I just need it to color these beautiful patterns and when I’m finished I am quite happy with myself. I could color this book all day long. If you don’t want the numbers to show I will suggest pastel gel pens as even the lightest color will cover up the number, otherwise you should probably get a patterns book without the numbers if it really bothers you that much. It doesn’t bother me at all as I use this book only when I need to. It is like therapy, or a xanax, lmao. I highly recommend this coloring book to people going thru the same thing as me. It WILL take your mind off whatever is bothering you tho temporarily, it does help. I have since bought like 50 other Jade summer coloring books as she is def my favorite, and probably like 50 other ones that turned out to be… not as great. Some of them tho are pretty cool and not all patterns books. Then I went and bought like 300$ worth of gel pens. I am a gelly junkie and I’m basically drowning in gel pens which I do not mind! Stop thinking about buying this and just buy it! I promise it’ll come in handy. Thank you for reading.

Good coloring book
Good coloring book I use at night to calm myself before bed. I like the numbers to colors as I’m not good at picking colors that go with each other. The back side of the page is blank for any markers that bleed through. There’s a page to make your own color chart or you can use their color chart. Many different designs to color and have fun with. I will be getting a few more color by number books.
