Close all of those other tabs. This is the backpack.
If you have 30 tabs open while you feverishly research backpacks that all look the same and make the same claims, you can stop. You have arrived at your destination. This is the backpack you are looking for. Normally, I would suggest SKYSPER brand backpacks because they are excellent quality and a great value. Unfortunately, they don't make a 40/50l zip top backpack (only roll top.) I went through several backpacks before I encountered this one, and it is the one I have stuck with. I don't use my backpack twice a month and sit it in a closet the rest of the time. I use mine. It goes everywhere with me. I feel like this backpack will last for a while. The construction feels heavy in all the right areas. The handles and gussets are all strong and reinforced. The zippers feel heavy and strong. It has a ton of space, the water bottle pockets are big enough to accommodate a 32oz Nalgene with room to spare, and deep enough that you can't even see the bottle once inside. The pockets actually fit my 64oz bottle if you can believe that. The separate lower compartment is also pretty nice.. Can close it from the inside to have a separate compartment (big enough for 2+ pairs of shoes!), or open it up to have a more storage space in the main compartment. It's not all sunshine though. There are a couple of complaints: the bag does have two main zipper compartments, but I wish it had a third, smaller compartment in the front. It's not that there isn't enough room in the bag, there are just some things I prefer to separate and having another area is nice. The padding on the straps is a tad bit light and soft. I don't really have issues wearing it for hours at a time, esp with the waist straps, but it's definitely something I noticed. After looking through nearly 100 backpacks, and trying out 15-20, I can confidently say that, unless SKYSPER starts making normal 40/50l backpacks, you will not find a better deal on Amazon.

Love this pack for super-ultralight camping.
Absolutely can't say anything bad about this backpack. I live in the desert and wanted a pack which was in-between the size of my 1 pound bladder day pack and my RT35 which is about a pound heavier than this one is. I, first, found 18 different packs which were close to having all that I wanted in a pack. Had to have a pouch (with a hole letting the hose out) for a water bladder (AND a 3 liter one at that). Had to be around 2 pounds. Had to have a separate area for sleeping bag that could be zipped out if I wanted it to. Had to have a waist belt Had to be able to strap things on the outside (also wanted it to be able to strap something on the top Had to be rated at least 4.5 on Amazon etc. In the end I narrowed it down to 3. The 4.8 rating on this bag was one of the clinchers. You just can't get a 4.8 rating on anything from 29 people unless it is an amazing product. The only things I wanted, which I added afterwards, were two D rings on the sides so I could use bunji cords to strap things like a sleeping pad or such on the bag. The four rather useless tie points are put in weird places (and they don't even give you an example photo of what they're expecting you to do with them. Because of the 45 degree angle on the bottom tie points, I'd assume that they're expecting that you'll criss-cross connect between the lower ones and the upper ones in an X fashion. If you do that, however, there isn't much that you'll be able to add to the pack in that fashion. Instead, I cut four 2 inch pieces of 1" orange webbing, sewed them around in a square through a plastic D ring and sewed two right in the middle between the two right and two left tie points along the edge nearest my body. I sewed the thread right through the inside rubber edge rope that runs around the inside to give it stability. Then I sewed two more at 45 degree angles along the same edge right up at the top where the handle meets the pack so I can bunji cord between that corner and the lower tie points. Works out well that way. Some of the things I love about this pack are... The weight. Hard to weigh it on my scale; but it seems like it's about 2.3 pounds even after my modifications. Not much way you can get lighter than that. Love the hip belt and the way it sits on my back. It distributes the weight well between the shoulder straps and the hip belt. The water bladder has no upper hanging hook; but it doesn't seem to NEED one (even though I did make one for it by sewing on a length of very thin webbing, then making a U-shaped hook out of brass flat hobby material that I had. Pop-riveted two pop rivets into the webbing and then filed down the pop rivets round and covered them with silicon. Works well; but really wasn't needed. Also sewed two very thin nylon loops that have a grommet in them along the inside back edge of the largest opening. Then I looped a carbiner clip through them to hold two flashlights which I push down in beside the water bladder. Finally, I put a hook with a finger-clasp in the center along with the strap that holds the water bladder to snap my key ring onto. Besides those modifications; it is a perfect super-ultralight pack for super-ultralight camping. I use a compression sack to compress a SnugPak Traveler sleeping bag, An SOL breathable and an SOL breathable lite and my MSR tent bivy without poles or fly and that all fits into the sleeping bag compartment. Then, I stuff my cooking kit, a rain coat, sliding the tent poles down through a partially unzipped partition between the bottom area and the top. Food, plenty of room for other things (I can stuff my full Patagonia coat inside along with everything else). Then, I strap the air mattress on the bottom two straps and love how it sits upright when I place it on the ground. Just love it.

I'm 6'5ft 360pds fits good/Update
I'm impressed with this backpack, it fit all of my large size clothes and laptop. The waste buckles actually fit around my waist and the shoulder pads were comfortable. It's a light weight backpack, I'm really trying to stay away from the tactical military style backpacks. This will work well on my trip to the Dominican Republic coming up. 🇩🇴. I recommend getting the backpack, I believe it will hold up as long as I don't snag it on something pointed or sharp. I liked how the backpack had an inside pocket for my laptop and it fit snug with an Amazon sleeve. Will see how it'll hold up on this trip. Update: My vacation in the Dominican Republic is over, the backpack held up just fine and it fit in the over head bin of a Boeing 737-900. I will take it to visit my baby son in Uganda 🇺🇬 next year to get him his US citizenship at the US Embassy. I like how you can strap a blanket or gear at the bottom of the backpack.

No issues with international travel with carrying on!
Took this to Europe for a two week trip. Awesome backpack. I was able to fit it under the seat in front of me on United and Lufthansa. No issues with having to check the bag. Found it plenty roomy and liked how the main compartment can be separated with the internal zipper. No issues with stitching or quality. Love the belt strap for long walks. I did buy small S-clips to keep the zippers closed for additional security. I plan on taking this bag again in a few months!

Lightweight yet more durable than expected
I needed the largest carry-on pack and this fit perfectly. I am glad i bought this instead a dueter or osprey. I overstuffed it on a 2 week trip in Europe and only the elastic trek pole cords broke. The bottom zipper was handy. My other packs have too many pockets or not enough but this one is just right. I usually used the belt and shoulder strap and they were good and snug. The pack is narrow enough for rock climbing and tight spaces. The lightweight ripstop is nice although I was worried that the stiching was single row and not dense but it held against my constant overfilling. The zippers are important, and they seem good and most are doubles. I may have to replace the shock cords for the axe/poles but just tied the broken loop for now. An exceptional good design except the goofy PERMANENT USB wire that is near an internal pocket with a zipper that closes on the opposite side. A hole like the hydropack would be smarter, require only 1 optional / replaceable wire and marketing people could put a USB label on it. Ridiculous idea but I'm sure I'll figure out how to remove it

Not too bad actually
For a pretty cheap camping backpack I'm really happy with it. Lots of room, lots of pockets and features. Comfortable enough not too heavy. Zippers are fine. Material and stitching are all decent enough.

Awesome Backpack for the Price
I wanted to get a bigger backpack to take on 3-4 day camping/hiking trips. This bag is exactly what I wanted. It's built solid and sturdy, it has great storage options inside and out, and has a lot of nice features to make things eaiser and more accessible. I love the USB external battery cord built into the pack. The water bladder slot is a great size for a 3L bladder and the hole for the hose is a good size too. I love that the pack comes with the rainfly in the very bottom of it and that the bottom of the bag has a zipper pouch to separate your shoes on the bottom to keep things clean and organized. I put my sleeping bag on the outside and it fit perfectly. The length of the bag is perfect for my 5'8" skinny frame and the belt at the bottom gives great support for longer hikes. I really love this bag. I love the colors, design, and the affordability--I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good bag at a decent price!

Great carry-on or day hiking backpack! Very roomy!
After reading reviews, comparing other backpacks via amazon, and looking at the prices...I decided on this backpack. I really do like the back pack, but there are 2 major things that I learned I do no like and therefore am writing this review. I plan to use this as a carry on for trips or as a day hiking bag. works well for both! No internal frame though, so won't use for overnight backpacking when I need support! 1. Backpack was literally folded in half when packaged and shipped. I don't know how this was ever a good idea (maybe to save on shipping price) but my backpack has an large fold INDENT of where it was folded right in the middle of my back. When traveling, I didn't notice, but after hiking for 3 hours, it was very annoying that the backpack did not line straight with my back, the middle (where it was folded) pushed outward, away from my back. 2. The small pockets on the waist strap. I read a review about fitting maybe a small phone. HA. I think maybe some cash/or credit cards. My iPhone 6 without a case definitely could not fit. In hindsight, this should have been my deal breaker, because after traveling in the airport, I wish I had pockets in the waistband to hold my phone and other essentials. The side pockets work, but when thinking about the possibility of things falling out, I just used the front pocket. As for the positives: 1. Love the shoe compartment! Seriously, dirty laundry, shoes, toiletries, just a cool way to section your backpack! It unzips if you want to make it all one space! 2. Lots of space! Great for a carry on- went to Puerto Rico for vacation for a week, fit beach clothes, hiking clothes, lounging clothes, and nicer clothes, along with all the necessary shoes! 3. Large side compartments. Fit 2 pairs of flip flops, or a pair of keen water shoes, or 2 water bottles! 4. Straps at the bottom! Held our towels when we went to the beach! Definitely can hold sleeping bag etc... 5. Padding on straps is comfy! 6. Mesh pocket inside the front pocket is awesome for holding valuables! Overall a 3 because of poor packaging causing the bag to be awkward when worn and useless pockets on waistband! Otherwise roomy and fit the bill, just upset about the packaging because thats an easy fix G4Free!! Also, other reviews complained about the zippers getting caught- yeah happened to me, but really didn't think it was a big deal. It got annoying, but it's a backpack.......that has zippers......lol
