Pop the Hood! (Blaze and the Monster Machines) (Lift-the-Flap)

Bought for my 2 year old nephew for his birthday, he loves this show and is in a big trucks-of-all-kinds phase. The book itself is a decently sturdy board book, with LOTS of flaps for kids to look under. It seems very short, but it has so many things to look at and under on each page that it kept him engaged for like 20 minutes. I've not seen the show, so maybe this is a thing they do, but I was surprised (but pleased) by the specific definitions. For example, they defined "friction" and "hydrofoil", which was great, because I had zero clue wtf a hydrofoil was supposed to be lol. All the wording, even the scientific definitions, were written in a very age appropriate way. The story itself isn't anything to write home about, but he was completely engrossed, which is a major win for a kid with an attention span as short as his. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with both the quality and content.

Oh my gosh our 2 year old who loves Blaze LOVES this book! It has so many flaps on each page it’s so fun. And the story line is awesome. Highly recommend if your child loves Blaze.

Cute book but not exactly what I expected with the title "Pop the Hood" and a picture of under blaze's hood i figured the book would be about the insides of the monster trucks, the engines and how they run which fascinates my son. The book is instead (for those familiar with the show) the episode "Tool Duel". It is a really cute book my son loves the flaps and I would recommend it for blaze fans.

My toddler is a Blaze fanatic and loves this book! It has a lot of flaps to lift so it keeps him busy for a little while.

This book combined lift up flaps and my son's favorite characters, Blaze and the monster machines. It was a great price and a great addition to his Easter basket

Lift the flap book for my grandson, he will love it!!!

My 2.5 yr old daughter loves it. The flaps r sturdy also compared to others books she has. Just wish their was more writing and direction in reference to the flaps but my daughter doesn't seem to care.

My 2 and half year old is a big fan of blaze and this book is brilliant. Simple to read with flaps to lift on each page. I would recommend this to any Blaze fans.
