It looks nice and it puts out a good amount of light
It looks nice and it puts out a good amount of light, but I had 2 problems:1) The trim isn't quite big enough to cover the edges of the can I installed it in (a Halo H995RICAT 4" LED fixture)2) The connector is wrong for the Halo fixture.

The product is a quality product that is easily inserted into the recessed can with clips. Really like the brightness and color of the light. The decorative ring however would be better if it was slightly larger to hide the clips of the can.

Didn't come with the same connection that was hard wired ...
Didn't come with the same connection that was hard wired in my home. Couldn't find the type of connection in the specs or on the pictures.

Terrible mounting system
The mounting fins on these lights are utter garbage. They attempt to hold onto the inside of the can purely through friction and by scraping gouges into the metal or enamel...however, because of the way they're designed (like two pairs of flimsy sheet metal wings), they easily bend back and can't exert enough pressure to stay put. The end result is lights that refuse to stay flush with your ceiling, and slowly creep their way out of the can until you find them sitting an inch proud of the ceiling or, as I did just this morning, hanging by a power cable.The icing on the cake was that, when I went to shove the hanging light back into the can, one of the mounting fins snapped off. Now my options are to either glue the light into place and be prepared to pry it out with a scraper when I eventually need to replace it, or throw the stupid thing out and find something better.Other than that, the LED quality seems pretty good with nice color temp, and the trim looks decent. So it's got that going for it, at least.
