Review: Makes excellent yoghurt! - Bought to make low fat yoghurt after having my gallbladder removed. Makes excellent yoghurt! Not so good in cocoa as it doesn't dissolve as easily as the Nido brand full fat dried milk but with a lot of whisking the result is acceptable.

**Q: Could anyone tell me the shelf life of this milk powder?**
A: I don’t know the shelf life bit it is not lactose free

**Q: Is this suitable for use in bread makers?**
A: I don't know. I only use it for tea.

**Q: Does this taste good in tea? Roughly how many cups would you get out of one bag?**
A: I'll have to be rather vague answering this. 1. I have not tried this dried milk yet so I cannot comment on the taste. 2. Based on dried non-lactose free milk powder (e.g. Marvel) you need to add 1-2 teaspoons of to a cup of tea. A teaspoon of dried milk probably weighs about 5 grams. So assuming adding 5 to 10 g of dried milk a 400 g of dried milk should be enough for 40 to 80 cups of tea.

**Q: Has anyone tried this in a dolce gusto pod? Does it work?**
A: Well, it's not the same as fresh milk, but, yes, it does 'work'. Like most powders, it's best to make a paste first, then slowly mix in the rest of the water. Good to have in the cupboard, and good for camping/ hiking.

Great taste. The description is a bit confusing, the product is named as 300g, but you select 500g option, and get 300g. So bear in mind its 300g.
