Review: Cool neck fan that cools and looks cool. - This past week we had a heat index of 104°F and I work in a warehouse without AC or air flow, so I bought this neck fan on sale for Prime Week. 100% worth the money. I'm usually sweating all day, but having air blowing on my neck really cooled me down. It has 5 settings. The first setting doesn't do much, might be nice for white noise when you're taking a nap. Level 3 works great and lasts about 8 hours when I take it off and charge it for breaks. Level 5 works extremely well, but would only last about 3 hours. But, it does charge fairly quickly. I have to bend it a little to get it around my neck, and it feels very sturdy. I just throw it in my backpack with all my other things at the end of the day, and it survives without a scratch.

**Q: I have long hair and wear it down.  Concerned with complaints that this grabbed hair.  Any tips on how to prevent this with long hair?**
A: I have loooong hair and so far nothing has been caught in it, I wear my gear fully out and even with my hair close to the intake nothing has been caught by it, not saying it won’t happen at all, just my personal experience

**Q: How can you tell when the battery is fully charged?**
A: My Jisulife fan stopped working after only one use. I've tried recharging and everything. Still nothing. I get a flashing blueish light that flashes three times and then stops.  I have the big part of the cable connected to the fan and the small part connected to my fully-charged MacBook Pro - I can't reverse that since the large part of the cable does not fit my Mac (too square). Can you offer help on how I could get this to work again? I was disappointed.

**Q: Anyone use this to go for a run or jog?  How did you like it?  Was it comfortable or did it slide around?**
A: I used it in a 100 mile ultramarathon in 96 degree weather, high humidity, saved my butt. To be fair, in a race like that I'm not going very fast so I don't know how well it works if you're sprinting but I think great for a long slow run in the heat. Stayed in place, was comfortable and I got a good 6 hrs out of it. I finished my race before it died, I used it a few days later for 2 hrs working beehives in a beesuit and was still going on the same charge.

I've had this fan for a couple of years and it is GREAT! The battery lasts for a few hours if you have it on setting 1 or 2. Recently decided to get a second one. The new one has 5 settings instead of the 3 my original has, which is nice. My only complaint is that the new fan is LOUD. It is hard to hear someone talking to you when it is only on setting 2. This fan is more than twice as loud as the original, which is disappointing. I would still buy this again, it is great for sitting or walking around on a warm day....or if you've reached the hot flash stage of life it helps tremendously. Maintenance note: use compressed air spray to clean out the dust bunnies from the vents. If your fan sounds like it is about to die, it is full of dust. Just clean it out and it will work like new again.
