Review: I bought this dryer stand when I fractured my forearm. It has two Velcro straps that hold the hair dryer in place. You can adjust the angle any way you want. It is very flexible. You can stand or sit. The base is very sturdy, it stays in place. I can blow dry my hair with one hand. Thank you for making this. Best thing I've bought in a long time.
Review: The idea behind the product was great but the execution was not: - the height is difficult to work with - it droops as soon as you try to put your hairdryer in the handle - speaking of the handle it does not fit a regular hairdryer I don’t know what they thought it was going to hold but it has no grip and snaps back to its original shape right away ALL this aside, the item came in a damaged box (not the desertcart box, THE ACTUAL BOX) it was USED and after setting it up, I realized that many parts of it were loose.

**Q: Can I use this stand with a dayson dryer?**
A: You can use it on any dryer.

**Q: Is the base a solid piece? What makes it heavy?**
A: The base is a solid piece, but as is, it is difficult to attach a hair dryer.  It appears to be made for older hair dryers that are straight and without "curves" on the body.  My husband had to modify the "clamp" that held the hair dryer.  It will still slip occasionally, but it does get the job done.  I bought this because I had surgery on my hand and could not hold a hair dryer. I probably won't use it after my hand heals.

**Q: I have a long straight blow dryer, would it hold it ?**
A: I also have a long straight hair dryer.  As is, It doesn't hold very well.  However, my husband modified it so it would hold my hair dryer. He added long pieces of sticky backed hook and loop tape.  That helped quite a lot.  After several weeks of use, it would work itself loose and he'd have 
to modify it again.  Since I was only using it because of hand surgery, I no longer need it.
