I have tried this Coconut Shell Charcoal Briquettes few times now, based on my experience I would like give the brief product review, • In this pack they are providing the 2 units of fire starter briquettes. It helped me for quick and easy ignition through my chimney starter. • It is pretty hot and it lasts for about 4 hr. You can easily cook more than 10 Kgs of chicken on one go depending on your stove size • There is no odor when u burn the charcoal and almost no smoke. Usually when u burn other charcoals it smells really strong but I didn't feel anything like that with this one • The best thing about it is, that the amount of ash, once u have completely used up, is way less than the normal charcoal and it's easy to clean • I would say that this is great charcoal for BBQ and is much easier to use. Having a chimney starter kit would make your BBQ setup much faster. Overall, I would definitely recommend these for BBQ

Takes very huge time to burn. Highly disappointed with this product. worst quality of charcoal. waste of money.

Just ok Self ignite sticks were not that good...it took a lot of time to catch up fire

These coals are really good, I had no problem lighting them in a charcoal chimney starter. These would easily last for 3 hours, I did a cook for about 1.75 hours and the coals are still nearly 60 percent avaiable. The temperatures I was able to get in my weber jumbo joe were eassily more than 350F till the end (has to reduce the airflow to reduce temperature). Overall, I'd say better buy the 12 kg pack as it will be cheaper. The density of these coals is quite high so you will end up using 1.5-2 kgs at a time probably for cooking a kg of chicken (in a closed weber grill). Overall value for money and good quality.

Long lasting charcoal, but you need to fire the charcoals completely before using them in the barbeque setup. Recommending to buy the Charcoal fire starter vessel/chimney starter along with this charcoal for effective use in barbeque.

This is one of the best quality charcoals you can buy. The briquettes are easy to light, develop extreme heat, maintain the fire without much effort, produce very low smoke or dust, burns for long time and leaves little dust or ash in the end. I think this 5 kg bag is going to last me a long time. I have a family of 4 and we need about 700 g max per 2 hour barbeque session. In fact sometime I have close the lid to shut down the charcoal. We can use the residual coal next time buy putting it in a paper bag.
