I bought this as a cheap and simple way to log what I eat and drink, my steps and exercise. I wear this differently to most people, in that I also bought and elastic strap so that I can wear it on my ankle to ensure a more accurate step count, and I wear it 24/7. Because I wear it on my ankle, only taking it off for showers and charging, and other than that I'm not touching it at all, the battery is lasting me 17 days between charging and I could probably squeeze out a couple more days if I wanted to, taking it to the limit at around 20 days. I don't use the screen on the Fitbit at all. You can move all the categories around in the app, so whilst I have food, water, bpm, and weight as my top four you might decide to have different ones. Being able to customise all the options as to what is important to you is really useful. I have found the app extremely easy to use and figure out how to get the most out of it. I get everything I need from the app on my phone. I'm not interested in logging the different types of exercise, only how much I have done in the fat burn / cardio zones. When exercising at home I like to be able to see that I'm in the fat burn / cardio zones on my phone and if I'm not I can push myself to put in more effort. Logging whatever I eat is easy, particularly due to the custom food option, so I can log exactly what I eat and the calories. Once I have added a custom food it stays on the list, which is great. It is also very simple to log what I'm drinking, which helps to keep me hydrated. Lastly and probably most importantly to me. I'm on a weight loss journey and I have found wearing this gadget helps to keep me motivated. Having lost over 2st 8lbs, in the last 14 weeks, it is really helping me on my journey, and I didn't have to pay a small fortune for any of the more expensive versions. This does all I need it to. Would definitely recommend the Fitbit Inspire 2 for people who require simplicity.

I bought this watch 2 years ago for under £30 I had a sense before which died within 6 months. This one has lasted 2 years. The heart monitor has stopped so I'm going to have to buy a new one. Don't know if I will find anything as good as this. The battery life lasted 2 weeks. My friend bought one too. With free Fitbit prime for one year. What is there not to like?

Bought to replace an old Fitbit HR which broke a few days before my holiday. This new version is fantastic, so easy to set up compared to my old version, just charge (it already had 20%) but was quick to top up. My phone found it, even before I told it to as my Bluetooth and after being prompted to put a code in, displayed on the new device, all the data synched across. So easy! Plus it was £30 cheaper than what I paid around 5 years ago so I feel like I've had a bargain. Just as good if not better than the old HR and a neater style. My old version had a large/long band as I'm not petite, this one comes with a comparatively smaller band but it fits fine 3 holes from the end and still secure but wow, it even comes with a larger strap which will be great as a spare. Comes with free premium but won't bother activating it will forget to cancel it. I ordered am and it arrived before 10pm on prime, amazing, actually arrived around 7pm!. I got the single black version looks nice and neat. Took me ages to work out that the other listings at double the price (similar to what I paid for my old one) was actually for 2!

I've been using this for about 6 months now. It's well priced and has most of the important functions I want from a fitness tracker - activity, step, heartbeat and sleep tracking to a decent accuracy and a companion app that shows the data in further detail. It does all those things pretty well. I'd like the data to be easier to export for my own uses, and in more detail - it serves up a file in your preferred format but doesn't have as many data points as the site and app shows for your account, which is frustrating to find out. Not a concern to most people but it feels like a selling point that isn't really true. The main flaws are the dim screen being unreadable in bright daylight and the limited interface. It only allows you to pre-set a handful of the many exercise routines available, and you can't set alarms in the watch, you have to go through the app - i have an older phone so this is pretty slow sometimes. You also can't re-order the functions that you scroll to from the main screen, so while i use the countdown timer daily, i have to scroll past three functions i practically never use, notifications, relax and exercise routines. The customizable watch faces are only a pre-determined set of official ones from FitBit, you can't find or make your own, and there are only a few that are practical for quickly checking your stats mid-exercise. I also had to buy a fabric watch strap as the silicone one was not letting my skin breathe, causing irritation. Your mileage may vary there, but consider you may need to spend another 5-10 quid on that. Overall i may have been served better by getting a second hand fitbit that is slightly more flexible, something my mother recently did, but i also wanted good battery life - which this definitely has - and the assurance of a warranty.

This isn't the fanciest Fitbit and has a small screen with just a black and white interface that isn't easy to read in bright sunlight conditions. However, it is more convenient than more expensive Fitbits because of this, since its small size makes it comfortable to sleep and exercise with and wear all day, so you get more tracking data, and the dim screen has an amazing 14-day battery life, so you don't need to charge it if you are going for a week long holiday for example, unlike most smartwatches which have similar features but need to be charged every 3-4 days. I get useful insights from this about how exercising at different times of day affects my sleep and recovery, as well as other activities, and I can usually tell from the heart rate and sleep data when I am ill a couple of days before symptoms hit, which is also useful. I have used the data I get from my Fitbit to guide better decision making for my health and I feel healthier and more motivated to follow a healthy lifestyle since getting this. I doubt the heart rate data is accurate, but it is accurate and consistent enough to spot sudden changes and longer term trends, which is good enough for my purposes. If you sit very still watching a 3 hour movie though it will think you have been sleeping, which is humorous to see. The silent alarms functionality is extremely useful and I would recommend getting this watch just for this as it is much better than a standard alarm and won't annoy or wake up other people around you.
