This is the best paddle I have ever had!! It’s so lightweight and the pattern is stunning ! I have had mine for a few years now and it looks as brand new as the day I got it ! So worth the money ! Oh and I use it on my paddleboard as I don’t stand .

Recently bought a paddle board with a kayak seat. The paddle it came with was very heavy and I knew with my shoulder injury it was a problem waiting to happen. I had done some online searching and came across a Reddit post relating to a health condition I have where this paddle was highly recommended. It seemed expensive at first, but after looking at comparable products, it ended up standing out for its value. So glad I took the plunge and purchased! My first paddle boarding excursion was a success and I did not overexert/reinjur myself while paddling. This paddle will allow me to move forward confidently with my new hobby.

I've been using this paddle for a month or so now and I love it. - The material is light but durable. (I had an outfitter shuttle me to the top of a river and as the worker helped me unload, he grabbed my paddle and was shocked by how light it was compared to the standard plastic paddles you get at a rental place.) - Cuts clean through calm water, holds up against the digging you sometimes have to do in shallow parts. - Love that it collapses for easy transport. I have a wider kayak (33") so it's nice to know I could adjust the length if I was using a narrower kayak at some point. - Some standard paddles hurt my hands because the shaft is too wide in diameter, but this hasn't bothered my hands or wrists yet. - Other paddlers dig the design too! Since this is the first one I've bought, I was somewhat concerned this would be a "pretty but cheap" paddle, but I've been pleasantly disproved. This paddle has served me very well so far and I would certainly recommend it to others.

The paddle was as described, with features found in a $400.00 paddle for 129.00. A huge upgrade to my low end aluminum shaft, plastic bladed paddle. Now I don't have to fear for my life when a thunderstorm forms on my kayaking floats. Holding a 5 foot aluminum lightning rod while floating on the water is a Darwin moment waiting to happen.

I love this lightweight durable paddle. It is my first paddle purchase. I found the value for the money to be inline for others with deigns. I find it comfortable in my hands when kayaking. I would have given it 5 stars except the design while I like it is lighter than I expected. It is still a nicer paddle than a plain one if you are wanting to stand out.

I recently purchased this paddle and couldn't be happier with it. It is crazy light and super stiff. I had been using a standard plastic paddle for a while now on ocean camping trips hopping from island to island, and after few hours of paddling my arms and back would get fatigued. This Hornet paddle looks killer, especially in the sun, and is so much nicer to use. I can easily paddle for 3 hours with much more comfort. I wish I had this long ago. I tend to like my blades at zero rotation, but when I'm pushing through a head wind I really like the ability to rotate the blades so that the blade out of the water cuts through the wind. I'd say the biggest surprise to me was the texture of the shaft. It has slightly grippy handle that I tried to capture in a picture. It's easy on my hands without gloves, but it also doesn't slip around.

I ordered this off of Amazon the first time, within the last year or so and the paddle was very sturdy, strong and lightweight. Its a great paddle to use, I have no complaints, except I have tried to order a 2nd one in the last week or so and the first one I got was in three pieces, it had been broken shipped to me, so I returned that one and tried the same paddle from a different icon, this one had a sale going on, $20 off, so I ordered that one and guess what, it came to me shipped in three pieces, so I am not going to try my luck a third time. I will find something different to order from a competitor. So out of ordering the product three times, two times have been bad, poor rating from me.

I am so pleased with this paddle. Ultra light weight and pretty, too. The expansion capabilities are awesome and the (I don’t know what you call it), locking mechanism is easy to use. The two pieces slide together easily. I am really happy with this purchase and so glad I went for it! NOTE: I used my paddle for the first time yesterday - paddled 10 miles (which normally is tiring), and it was fantastic! I had no upper body fatigue or soreness. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this paddle is! So happy.
