Brentwood Appliances KT-1900R Tempered Glass Tea Kettles, 1.7-Liter, Red

This was purchased in 2020 from Amazon resale in used mint condition. The electric stopped working in 2026. Used daily and descaled once a year. No issues with it. Great kettle.

I bought this glass tea kettle over a decade ago the first time. The only reason it didn't last longer is that I got the electric element wet and it shorted out. Aargh. So I have a new one now and it's still the same reliable and attractive product. And I'm being super careful with it this time around!

The electric kettle was exactly what I wanted. I was looking for the red one, glass, 1.7 L . The one I’ve got is inexpensive, heating fast, shutting off automatically, and has a nice feature of bright blue light while brewing. Love it!

The only feature I do not like is when you remove the pot from the base and then return it after pour, it does not auto shut off. You have to reclick the button. I feel once removed from base it should shut off.

What a fun appliance to have in the kitchen that lights up when hot water is made. I've had now for over a year and it is still going strong.

This is a great appliance to own. I love how quickly it boils water, and, keeps it hot for quite a while. This is the second one we have owned and I would recommend it to anyone.

This kettle lasted until July 9, 2025 when the top came off and therefore could not be used to boil as it would not cut off automatically. I took photos and forwarded them to Brentwood and since it was still under warranty they said they would replace but they did not have a red one in stock and would contact me when one was available. I kept following up periodically - still not in stock. On September 15, 2025 I inquired again on its availability and was advised they had one in stock but I would be required to provide photos of the plug having been cut off and the under side of the kettle plus pay $18.99 for shipping costs. Obviously, the damaged kettle had long been thrown out. I told them to shove their replacement and I would purchase another red kettle from someone other than Brentwood. Do not purchase this kettle.

La jarra es muy bonita. El color rojo luce muy bien. Lo único es que el vidrio de la tetera es delgado. La ocupo con mucho cuidado. Todo lo demás funciona excelente.
