The official behind-the-scenes companion to The French Dispatch and the latest volume in the bestselling Wes Anderson Collection series Everything that goes into bringing Anderson's trademark style, meticulous compositions, and exacting production design to the screen is revealed in detail in this beautifully designed book. Written by film and television critic and New York Times bestselling author Matt Zoller Seitz, The Wes Anderson Collection: The French Dispatch presents the complete story behind the film’s conception, anecdotes about the making of the film, and behind-the-scenes photos, production materials, and artwork. The French Dispatch —the tenth feature film from writer-director Wes Anderson—is a love letter to journalists set at the titular American newspaper in the fictional 20th-century French city of Ennui-sur-Blasé. The film stars a number of Anderson's frequent collaborators, including Bill Murray as the newspaper's editor in chief; Owen Wilson, Tilda Swinton, and Frances McDormand, as well as new players Jeffrey Wright, Benicio del Toro, Elisabeth Moss, and Timothée Chalamet, who bring to life a collection of stories published in The French Dispatch magazine. Review: Used book worth it. - Bought it used and it looked used but it's what i expected. Definitely worth the cheaper price. The book and this whole series are fun to have in hand. Review: desertcart worker does not know how to pack - This expensive book, which is beautiful, was delivered with NO PACKING MATERIAL.Although I have a doctorate, when I was 15, I worked in a company at 157 Chambers Street in NYC, packing books and records. Outside of the book, the box was empty as the packer’s head!Whoever packed this book needs to be taught how to pack! DISGRACE! I found no other way to complain to desertcart!

The quality is great
Just bought my copy at my local independent bookstore and just wanted to note that the quality of The French Dispatch is identical to my copy of Seitz's The Grand Budapest Hotel. Which is to say it is exquisite. They're lovely books that are put together with a level of care and attention to detail befitting a Wes Anderson production.

Very Poor Print Job for a Wes Anderson Production
Binding | The book is printed and bound in the USA. One of the two stars is for this alone. The quality of the binding is bad. Hold it against the incidence of a ray of light or run your fingertips diagonally across the boards, and the bumpy cheap cardboard used in the binding is evident. Paper Stock | The stock is light weight semi-gloss, that is known to the subscribers of Vogue, Variety, GQ, or Cosmopolitan. One word … Cheap. Print | Super tiny (Point 4?) Serif fonts start to finish. Lines are packed close together, in dense text clusters, making for *very difficult* readability. The Covers of The French Dispatch | This section has all 30+ classy and classic covers by the illustrator Javi Aznarez. What’s not to like? The four covers crammed per page. It is hard to believe that ABRAMS pulled this wry joke on the discriminating readers and collectors of all things Wes Anderson. Each cover deserves a page all its own. With another page of commentary. And each with a perforated easy-tear layout for framing. But no such luck … or good foresight forthcoming. Verdict | Skip this edition. Unless you are a completist. My copy will be returned for a full refund.

Great book, terrible Am@zon packing.
Greta book, but tired of poor packaging from Am@zon. Book was dinged up. Common occurrence.

Veio estragado
O livro veio super amassado e estragado nas pontas. O valor já é alto e a gente espera um livro em boas condições!
