It took two of us 1.5 hours to assemble, as we didn't rush. It was simply set up, no real confusion. Screwing in a the portion that raises on the desktop was a little difficult, as there wasn't room for our hands to get in there to screw it in. We love this choice overall, and we have it set up with three monitors, a scanner, extra printer, and desk lamp that clamps on the desktop.
