Review: Pretty decent! - Seems to be on the smaller end of 8" speakers. Sound quality is surprisingly acceptable, especially for the price point, and will improve slightly after several hours of playing music. Need to turn up volume and/or bass setting to get LEDs to pulse more brightly. I used these for a DIY Pelican case Bluetooth speaker build and it is great.

Seems to be on the smaller end of 8" speakers. Sound quality is surprisingly acceptable, especially for the price point, and will improve slightly after several hours of playing music. Need to turn up volume and/or bass setting to get LEDs to pulse more brightly. I used these for a DIY Pelican case Bluetooth speaker build and it is great.

Got a pair of the 8" because I wanted a pair of the biggest coax speakers I could get for a weird omnidirectional speaker/floor lamp project. The cone/surround diameter is 7" not 8" but they're exactly 8" around including the mounting ring. These actually sound great for the price. T/S parameters aren't available so I just threw them in an oversized sealed enclosure and the bass response is fantastic for coaxials. Lots of sparkle and boom, little bit of a dip in the midrange, probably more a function of the omni directional dispersion than the speakers though. I skipped the led function and haven't tested the water resistance, but I don't expect my living room lamps to get soaked very often.
