I bought this as a secondary dock to use in my room so I dont have to disconnect and move my other dock from our family room. It works really well for that. It is small and light and has all the plug ins as the original, plus the added feature to change to using it as a stand for playing of the console tabletop wise while charging.The only surprise is the fan once you attach the console. I haven't heard it stop going when it is plugged in. I think the fan is not temperature activated but rather dock activated. the fan sound a bit like your laptops fan when its heating a little. I don't mind it for the most part as it is white noise, but it makes me want to dock my switch on the other dock at night time. That being said, the fact that it has a fan is way better than the original dock is as playing while docked can cause a lot of heat shortening the switched battery life. I'll trade a little noise for a healthy switch.

I got this to replace an OEM Switch dock that quit working. I didn't want to pay the $60+ dollars for an OEM one this time. I am glad I got this one. It is very compact and will be great for traveling. It is also nice for those spots where you may not have room for a full size dock. The fan seems to work well and I think will keep the Switch running a bit cooler on those long gaming sessions. I will probably pick up another one for the bedroom TV as well so I don't have to move the dock around when I want to play on another TV.

I'm rather surprised with the easy setup. It works pretty much as advertised. The Fan keeps everything nice and cool. It's worth the value.I'm only disappointed that the fan constantly run. So unless you want to hear a small whine consistently, you'll have to take the switch off the dock. Also the alignment tabs just keep the switch properly elevated but not stabilized left and right. It is a bit wobbly.

I bought this while waiting for a replacement fan for my son's Nintendo switch and so far it has worked great. The fan only works while attached to the tv unfortunately but it does allow him to use his wired controller anywhere he goes. His switch's internal fan broke so he was no longer able to play anything without it overheating. With this dock he's able to play any of his games while connected to the tv without any overheating issues so far which is kind of surprising because the fan isn't the strongest. It's also quite quiet. I'm fairly satisfied with it so far. I do wish the fan worked all the time however.

Excellent product. The fan is not loud and cools the switch really well although it's not quiet either but I don't have an issue as I use either headphones or the TV so I don't hear it. The USB are nice and I can connect my controller as you see in the picture very easily and makes the cable not bend or anything like that.It can charge with the regular Nintendo switch charger or a USB to C cable too. It needs to be plugged for the fan and HDMI but if you are going to play in a screen or tv then you need it anyways.In summary: great product and would recommend it (actually did to a coworker).

Had this dock for about a month. About the 4th week it started freezing while connected to TV/HDMI. Today it completely stopped displaying through TV/HDMI. The fan and charger still worked great but won't display on the TV. Nice dock but this one tuned defective so I'm sending it back.

My son broke the charging stand that came with his switch. I bought this as a temporary replacment. I regret it. I had to return this product twice. Tge first time the fan did not work and it would not charge the switch. It was getting power because it would charge my phone from one of the other usb ports. I exchanged it for a new one. When the new one came in the fan worked and the usb ports worked but again it would not charge the switch. It also would not turn the fan off unless you unplugged it from the wall. The sleep mode didnt work at all. The direction that came with it were so vague and the english translation made it appear as if a child wrote them. I returned the second one for a refund and just got a new one from nintendo. Dont waste your money or time. Its not worth it. Hell i wouldnt give this product my time again even if they were giving it away.

This dock has a strong grip on your Switch to ensure it does not fall out or get disconnected by accident easily. The fan is strong enough that you can feel the air flow from a good distance away from the base while remaining whisper quiet, plus it has all the connections the standard Nintendo Switch dock uses, but at a MUCH smaller size, making it easier to travel with.When I first got my Switch, I was looking for a dock to replace the original, because it was bulky and had a tendency to keep the heat from the Switch contained without properly dissipating it. I was afraid that my Switch would overheat and fail if used extensively.This Switch Dock has eliminated that fear!I should also point out that while I have my Switch connected to this dock, I am still able to play my Switch in Handheld mode because the dock is so light, you can barely tell it's there, (except for cooling airflow you feel over your fingers along the back of the grips.)I have since replaced my original Switch dock with this one and even intend to order more in the near future for a few Switch friends.
