This stuff saved my tired commute home. Night shift nurse here and my muffler started making this rattly sound on the 4 a.m. drive, which is the last thing I need after twelve hours on my feet. I just smoothed it over, waited about 3–4 hours, then let the car idle in the driveway for 20 minutes. It turned rock hard and the noise disappeared. Excellent muffler cement. I was getting weird sound from my car's muffler and found out that there is a tiny crack there. I used this to seal it up well, and it became rock hard. I let it dry for some 3 or 4 hours and then idled the car for 20 minutes, and it became rock solid. I feel that it will hold for a while, got to wait and see.

I noticed a small leak on my muffler and heard loud exhaust noise, didn’t want to pay a mechanic. Applied this J-B Weld MufflerSeal after cleaning the surface thoroughly. It spreads easily, cured hard and handles high exhaust heat well. After a few days of driving, the leak is completely gone and the annoying noise disappeared. The 12oz tube has plenty of product. Super satisfied with this budget-friendly fix, definitely recommend for small muffler seam leaks.

Worked great. The stuff becomes rock Solid. I had a hold right at a corner where exhaust tape wouldn’t work well so used this and it work great. You do have to wait a day for it to harden before you can use the exhaust.
