My husband needed a if replacement , it made his one leg a little shorter than the other , and I bought him some of the other kind of inserts , and they didn't work it's very happy with these.He's walking better and it's not as uncomfortable

After hip replacement surgery I ended up with a slightly longer operated leg, causing hip pain with every step. Fortunately I found Dr Foot's adjustable heel insert, which greatly helped alleviating the pain. The adjustable insert has a longer base, and 4 short inserts allowing to adjust it to the desired height. All made of transparent silicone, that are sticky enough not to move around in the shoe. I started out with 3 layers, later I was able to remove one layer.

I have one leg slightly shorter than the other. I use an insole set of two in all of my shoes. They are good enough that with the set in the package, I can use them for 4 different shoes. I'd give it 5 stars if there were a way to get the top insole separately, so I can use it with the other pieces with the top insole

I got these after I ruptured an achilles tendon. I had a boot with heel lifts on the injured side and got these for the good foot. If one heel is raised, the other should be as well to avoid hip and low back problems. These are easy to use; they come in 5 sections, a heel cup and 4 wedges which stack below it. The clear silicon material is sticky so the sections stick together well, and they're quite soft so it's pretty comfortable. The main problem is that they are too soft! After a week or so they were crushing down; as I have slight pronation they crushed more on one side than the other. For my use this didn't matter much as I only needed them for 4 weeks while I was in a CAM boot for the injury. But after the four weeks they were quite crushed down and out of shape, and the sections were so glued together that I couldn't take them apart. Again not an issue for me, but if you want to gradually reduce the lift, it'd be difficult. However for under $15 I got good use out of them, and they come with 2 sets so if needed I could have switched to the other set. If you just want one or 2 sections in each shoe for cosmetic reasons these would be fine. They are not medical grade and definitely not orthotic.

My left leg is a bit shorter than my right leg. I purchased these in hopes of lifting my leg just enough to avoid further discomfort to my back. First the pieices to did not go together as easily as described. It took some real effort to put two together. Once I got them together I placed them in shoe and put my shoe on. The gel pieces didn't hold up, I'm 190, they squish down too far to make a real difference. I was hoping they would extend closer to the arch but they don't. Very uncomfortable. I can not recommend them.

Worked well when I had to wear a boot on my other foot. Made walking easier without limping

Doesn’t provide extra height. I stacked all of the inserts together and didn’t feel much of a difference. Rather it was quite comfortable because my feet were sinking into the inserts. I think they should’ve used a different material. It didn’t feel sturdy to me and the inserts did not stay put.
