Comfortable, convenient, durable
I volunteer with my local CERT as well as my local CAP squadron, and this makes my life much easier. I'm able to use a much longer antenna for my HT than the rubber ducky they come with; the antenna loops on the strap let me run the antenna up over my shoulder and behind my ear so I'm hardly aware it's there. I can use it with either my ham HT, or the EF Johnson or Motorola radios issued by CERT or CAP. There's a pen/pencil holder and a small zippered pouch that I use to hold a spare antenna and my earpiece/mic combo. It could also hold a spare battery if it isn't too big. It's comfortable. I'm a big guy (3XL shirt size) and the straps are able to accommodate me without issue. It holds everything in place nicely. I wear it under a safety vest or a safety coat, and I wear it 10 hours at a stretch when volunteering. I'm able to wear a backpack, sling a water bottle, or shoulder a satchel over this harness without any issues or hotspots. The material is thick and strong, like the type used on a quality backpack. It holds its shape well. I know there are other similar-looking ones that are cheaper. I also know that I'm happy with the quality and comfort of this one. It's been two years and I'm satisfied.

Good idea , ends the "Where do I put the radio?" problem.
I use radios for daily communication across my property. The have always been a pain in the A-- to deal with as we work. Some people put their radio down and leave it , or loose it off of their belt causing not only loss of communication but money as well. This ended our problem! Out of the way. doesn't hook on things as you move around and doesn't interfere with a drop shoulder holster either. Great find! One star off as a side anchor loop to hook to your belt would help stabilize and anchor the rig.
