The Stuhrling GMT is a well-crafted timepiece that really surpasses my expectations. I have owned dual-time watches, but I hadn't owned a GMT before this, and I saw it was on sale for dirt-cheap. So after some research into the brand, I made the purchase. At first glance, it looks incredibly similar to a Rolex GMT-Master II, much similar to the Depthmaster giving the appearance of a Submariner. The box that it arrived in was nice and small (something other brands should take note of), and the watch itself was completely coated in protective film, which may be annoying to peel off, but gives a better sense that the watch was protected. Something to note, as I did with the Depthmaster, is that the band size on arrival is gigantic. My wrist is fairly small, about 7.5-8 inches around, but the band was made to fit what seems to be around a 14-16 inch wrist. Luckily, the links were very easy to remove, and now it fits perfectly. The clasp isn't loose, but it isn't stiff, either. Now, contrary to what some people seem to think, this watch IS in fact waterproof. Those who complain about leakage probably didn't read the instruction manual or have never owned a watch with a screw-down crown. Like in ANY waterproof watch, you MUST screw down the crown, otherwise the watch WILL leak and break. The illumination on the hands and makers is great... for the five minutes it lasts for. I will spend ALL day in the sun or under the light, and then the watch will illuminate for... again, five to ten minutes when it goes dark at all. After a year, I haven't had to replace the battery, which is how Swiss-class quartz movement should be. It only got behind by about a minute in 7 months, which is quite impressive considering that the watch isn't truly Swiss. Keep in mind that Stuhrlings are NOT Swiss-made, they are produced mainly in China. The movement on the GMT is Rhonda movement, which is a type of Swiss movement but not truly Swiss. It's like a pseudo-Swiss movement. They use Krysterna crystal, which is a synthetic sapphire. I have found that Krysterna is not as strong as true sapphire, as I unfortunately did put a light scratch on it after lightly bumping the kitchen island. If you want Stuhrling's TRUE Swiss-made line, you need to look for their much nicer (and much pricier) Alexander watches. Overall, as someone who owns Bulova, Seiko, TAG Heuer, Movado, Fossil, and other brands, the GMT matches not all, but almost all of them in terms of looks and quality.

The watch looks great and works well. My son wanted a stylish watch since his school banned smart watches. He loved it. Mature look for a good price

Previously: Nice looking designer quality watch at a decent price, but the crown threads seemed to drag and the crown would not go all the way into, flush, with the case. The 2nd time zone 24-hour hand didn't seem accurate and lagged behind the correct time. Returned this one and ordered another one hoping it would be better. Ordered a second one overnight. The crown on this one fit firmly against the case. Only guessing that the first one was a 'return' because the band on the second one was heavily wrapped in clear plastic. Like the first one the 24-hour second time zone still lags...but then it's not a $16,000+ Rolex GMT Master II....but for a designer quality watch, it looks pretty nice and worth the price. Changed two to four stars.

Watch seemed to be ok for the price but the bracelet was cheap garbage. Bought on sale for my son as Christmas gift. Bracelet broke twice. Second time he wasn't aware and his friend found the watch on his floor. I'm currently wearing a Seiko with similar design. The weight and feel is light years more impressive. Unfortunately due to the bracelet being so so cheap I had to return the watch. I was worried he'd lose it.

I have a real Rolex DateJust that I received as a gift in 1985 (it's not the GMT version), and I swore I would never buy a Rolex look-alike. I've always liked the Rolex GMT, but I could never afford the $18K for it nowadays. So I decided to give this a try for $109. So far I really love this watch. It has a nice authentic heavy weight feel to it, and just like my real Rolex, the "jubilee" bracelet doesn't snag the hairs on my arm. I really appreciate the "submarine hatch" screw-down crown, which like the Rolex, enhances some pretty reliable water resistance. I like the fact that this is a quartz movement rather than a mechanical, self-winding automatic, and so far, the quartz accuracy seems to be pretty much on par with my Citizen Satellite (I'm still testing this part, but so far it's looking pretty darn good). A few of the reviews may have indicated a problem with water leaks, but I suspect they didn't tighten down the screw-down crown very well. Nice job Stuhrling.

Love the brand but didn’t like the band. Looks too much like a knock off Rolex. Overall quality was good but the date magnifier was offset too much and didn’t look right. Have multiple other watches from them and have been happy. This one just didn’t do it for me.

Hübsche und für das Geld wirklich gute GMT Uhr als Hommage an eine Uhr einer bekannten Marke so ähnlich klingt wie Alex. Die Krone ist schraubbar und läuft nicht ganz so glatt wie bei einer hochwertigen Uhr, Lünette dreht sich in beide Richtungen ohne Rastung. Die Zeiger leuchten in der Nacht und lassen sich erstaunlich gut auch am Morgen noch erkennen.

Secondo Stuhrling che compro . Il cinturino jubilee lo alleggerisce rispetto al modello oister. Ben fatto e lo preferisco al movimento automatico che se non indossato si ferma ( movimento quarzo svizzero ronda) . GMT comodo e funzionante . Ricalca al 90% il gmt master Rolex che costa qualche euro in più con odioso movimento automatico. Se vuoi un orologio prendi questo se vuoi un gioiello prendi altro
