I used this on my Weber 57, along with a chimney starter, half full with Weber briquettes and also placed fresh briquettes at the bottom of the vortex. Once the starter had the briquettes going, I tipped them all into the vortex and the temperature soon hit a stable 250 with vents fully open. I started off open grill cooking home made Adana kebab on wide skewers. After this, I moved onto Angus and Oink rub chicken wings, apple and hickory wood, with the Weber lid closed. I rotated the wings after 15 mins and finished the cook at total of 35 mins. I then went for another round of wings in a different Angus and Oink rub for the same cook time but by this point the temp was sitting 240. Really pleased with how the food turned out, wings had a crisp skin and the vortex works well. The quality of the product is decent for the I price paid and I'd recommend investing in one.
