beginner friendly, thin writing, comfortable to write!
I genuinely love this fountain pen. itโs true that itโs beginner friendly. very comfortable to write with. personally i love how it writes so thin and effortless. i no longer mind the cost because it is both great and affordable for the quality it gives out when writing. literally i have no regrets. recommend to anyone whoโs a beginner and like to write with thin pens. i also hear you can use a converter such as CON-40 or CON-70. absolutely love it!

Superb! nib is too fine for me though.
Superb pen! Ink flows very smoothly, no jumps when writing. Great for fast writers that need to write essays in small time periods. Pen structure feels solid and doesnโt feel like it would break it I dropped it or anything. Would really recommend this pen! Bit on the expensive side personally, but worth it. Feels like it could benefit me for a long time (touchwood!) However, my (personal) issue is that because the nib is Extra Fine, it means that writing feelsโฆ scratchy. Not a main issue, but when iโm writing with my Lamy medium nib it feels much smoother on the paper. Next time I would buy perhaps a fine nib. Excuse my handwriting. aha.

Another solid Pilot pen
Pilot are a great brand of fountain pen, with good prices on budget pens like this, which are light and easy to write with without compromising on simple good looks.

Dream like
Excellent pen. Writes like a dream and if you get the right things it is refillable aka a converter or if you are confident a syringe. Fits comfortably in hand. Dries exceptionally quickly. Doesn't bleed through pages. And yes it does feel plastically but its not overwhelming

Waste of money. Cheap quality
Horrendous. Not had it 20 minutes and already broken. The pen is faulty. The ink cartridge that come with it wouldnโt fit. Tried another cartridge, same problem. Pen is cheap, light, faulty. Quality is terrible. Ink everywhere as ink cartridge supplied was also cheap. Waste of money.

Good Value for a Daily Use Fountain Pen
I wanted to try an inexpensive Pilot fountain pen to see how I would like the nib. I ordered a pen with a Medium nib. In my experience, most Japanese Medium nibs produce a line width closer to a Western Medium than a Western Fine, and a Japanese Fine is more like a Western Extra Fine with a considerable difference between them. I was hoping for something like a Western Fine, and I was not disappointed. The Medium nib was exceptionally smooth and gave me the line width I was looking for. I ordered a second identical pen to see if my experience was a fluke. The second pen performed exactly the same way, so there seems to be consistency between nibs. Both pens wrote very well straight out of the package. The pens are very light, post well, don't dry out, and are easy to clean out when changing ink. The nib and feed can be removed easily for cleaning by pulling them straight out. The section has flat areas to encourage a three-finger grip, and I find it quite comfortable. The shape of the section makes you hold the pen a certain way, but the nib and feed can be rotated to any position, letting you position the nib perfectly for your writing style. These pens don't have a clip, so if you want to carry one in a shirt pocket, you might want to use a pen sleeve. The clear plastic body lets you check your ink level without removing the barrel. The plastic seems somewhat prone to scratching, but seems fairly durable. A pen sleeve will help keep the pen in good condition. The pen comes with a Pilot cartridge. Pilot sells cartridges in only a few colours, but you could add a Pilot CON-40 or CON-70 converter so you can use any other brand or colour of ink you choose. All in all, I think this a very good, reliable pen at a very reasonable price.

Pen already opened.
The product itself is very good! I love Pilot Kokuno Fountain Pen. Ink glides smoothly. I gave only 3 stars, however, because the pen came to me already opened and ink cartridge already plugged-in the pen! did I buy a second-hand pen??? Quesrionable seller, in my opinion..

Quality and writes smoothly
I have numerous fountain pens ranging in price from 10 to $100 and this is my favorite at the moment. If you want extremely fine lines without scratching into the paper this is the pen you want to buy. Be sure to order cartridges or syringes to fill the cartridge don't buy the con40 converter.
