Are these grown in France? If not, where?

It is not clear where these lentils were grown, but there is a note on the front of the package stating "made in USA". I am not sure if that means "grown in the USA" or "packaged in the USA" or something else. I think if they were grown in France the package would probably indicate that.

I am not familiar with Le Puy lentils that are only grown in a certain region of France. But my suspicion is that these Pereg French lentils are not legit Le Puy. The package does not state Le Puy anywhere that I can find. Also, the "made in USA" note on the package might be trying to say "grown in the USA". There is no indication on the package where the lentils were grown.
