is this safe to use if you have a very loved parrot in the house?

I wouldn't have the bird in the house while first using any new cooking device. Once it has been used a few times it should be fine. I used to work at a place that made oven liners and customers had birds die from the initial fumes. If you can't bring the bird elsewhere I would put it in a far away room with a closed door and window opened.
