Ive used this same pair on 2 different mountain bikes from 2 different brands with no issues. **Q: Does it come with only 1 pedal for 1 side or it comes with 2 pedals for both sides?** A: It comes with 2 pedals. **Q: these brand new pedals have big resistance. Does it need to unscrew external screw and put some grease inside to have them working smoothly ?** A: The peddles may be defective. The peddles I bought worked flawlessly out of the box. I screwed them on the arms using the Allen sockets. They felt good when spun by hand. I rode about 60 miles and they work like new.
