Dry lube is actually a thing! Who knew?!?!
I genuinely thought that someone was pulling my leg and having a joke with me when they suggested I brought some WD-40 Dry Lube, I thought it was of the same lines of tartan paint, sky hooks, skirting board ladders, long weights, etc etc. Getting home and doing a search on Amazon I found it was a real thing! WD-40 has always been one of the top items every person should have in their tool box regardless of size, along with a roll of duct tape, zip ties, and a hammer. Afterall if you cant fix something by sticking it, lubing it or tying it you can always hit it with a hammer! Now this isn’t for use on everything but in slightly more specialised applications where you want to avoid the greasy film left by normal WD40. I am using mine in my woodworking hobby on my power tools for example my mitre and table saw. This beautifully helps clean them up whilst protecting them at the same time. I don’t have to worry about forming saw dust monster now under my workbench from lubricant and wood combining together. It does also then make your regular maintenance a lot easier and you will find many places to use it on. Whilst the phrase game changer is often over used, in this case it really is justified.
