Bought this for the spoon alone so I considered the tongs a bonus item. While I haven't used the tongs much the spoon is probably my nicest feeling and most durable kitchen utensil. Has a nice heavy feel to it and is right at home with much more expensive utensils.

We served spaghetti at a church function, and I quickly realized that our tools were too short. I ordered these to help with our next spaghetti meal. When using big pots, you need tall tools. This reached deep into the big pot and was sturdy enough to handle a big cooking job.

The pasta spoon/fork is made fairly well, but the tongs are made of very thin gauge steel and can be easily deformed. The tongs are almost unserviceable because of the flimsiness of the metal and isn’t spring loaded so it would open apart after being squeezed together. Altogether an almost useless piece of equipment. The three stars should have been 21/2 and is for the spoon only... zero or negative for the tongs.
