22 Momme 100% Mulberry Silk Bonnet for Sleeping Women, Pink

I am stunned by this product’s effectiveness. I’ve always had thick but fine hair that becomes very frizzy with humidity living in Florida. Now as a 73 year old white woman who has still not gone grey my hair has become very thin and wispy after 2 knee replacements and weight loss. I’ve been wearing a cpap nightly which is great but certainly adds a lot to hair stress. I have a lot of new hairs which stick up and probably have a year to grow out enough to make a difference. After 2 nights the effect on my hair was miraculous. It’s smooth and shiny and all the little hairs are calming down. After five nights, I’m hooked! I would never have believed it could be so effective. I’ve got multiple silk pillowcases (a hassle to take care of) and they never worked like this. When I’m wearing this turban I do look like I came straight out of Sunset Boulevard but who cares! One word of warning. It is very big and if I didn’t have the cpap, it would never stay in place. If you have lots of hair it’s probably perfect but if not, you may need to alter it.

I never dreamed I’d love this silk hair bonnet so much. I bought 2 different styles of sleep masks made by this brand and sent them both back. So expectations were low for this silk hair bonnet. The size was perfect upon arrival needing no adjustment. It is so comfortable to sleep in. I wear it at nap time, too. The high quality silk material is smooth and comfortable with a double layer of thickness. I love the bright turquoise blue color I ordered. I have long graying hair which I was constantly flipping up and behind my head to keep it out of my way when I sleep. This turban style bonnet slips right on my head and I then twist my hair into a ball around my finger and tuck it right up in the back. It’s so easy to use and protects my hair all night. Surprisingly my hair is smoother than ever in the morning and the part underneath that is going wirery on me is smoothed out, too. I never would have believed it but it is shiny, slick, and wavy on the ends when I release it in the morning. I don’t have to keep flicking my hair back up over my pillow anymore. I washed it already and it was easy to wash in cool water in the sink. I suggest washing it first thing in the morning because it takes all day to dry. Or have an extra bonnet in another color for fun so you’ll always have one ready to wear. It did bleed color into the water but it still dried as brightly colored and looked as good as new. The silk material seems very durable but is gentle on the hair. I found a different brand of sleep mask that I love and wearing this bonnet under the mask actually keeps the back strap of the mask from sliding down. I sleep better than ever now. I tend to be warm at night and this bonnet doesn’t make me hot in any way. I highly recommend you give it a try. You have nothing to lose because it’s returnable within 30 days.

The quality was nice, but it's simply too large for my head. The adjusting strap did not make it tight enough. Despite this, it was very soft and lightweight and I love the color.

This bonnet has been a game changer for me. I have long, wavy hair with a lot of volume, and my hairdresser recommended a 100% silk bonnet to help reduce frizz and breakage, so I decided to try this one. It has made a noticeable difference. If you dye your hair frequently, this won’t repair existing damage, but it does help reduce further damage. I also have a slightly larger head and very thick hair, so I was pleasantly surprised that it fits comfortably without causing any discomfort. After using it for a few months, as my hair has grown longer and thicker, I’ve noticed it can occasionally slip off, but not often. I machine wash it in cold water and air dry it, and it still looks and feels like new.

My hair type is very straight, fine, curl resistant. I purchased this bonnet to use for overnight heatless curls, to help balance oil/moisture distribution, and as an alternative to my normal night time hairstyle which is a top knot messy bun which was causing some unwanted breakage and damage from the elastic. From the few times I used this , I did notice my hair was smoother, more manageable, and better, oil distribution (ends more moisturized, roots less greasy). I wash my hair once a week. The closer I get to wash day I transition from wearing my hair down to wearing it up. I was able wear my hair down for longer before transitioning to an updo because my natural scalp oil tended to not settle in my roots as much when I wore the bonnet to bed. It was a good starting point for me to see the benefit , but I think I may need a different style. I see some people said it was too big, and that was definitely not the case for me. Apparently I have a big noggin because it's pretty snug on me. It's tight enough where it affects the overall comfort level when wearing it and then it pushes its way off. So I stopped fiddling with it and quit wearing. If you have a lot of hair and it's thick, this is not the style of bonnet for you. There's not a lot of room in the cap and it fits very close to the head I also don't like my ears covered and I feel like the only way it stays on better is if I brought it down over my ears. I thought maybe I just needed to wash it and kind of break it in , but the overall fit has not changed . This is my first time buying a bonnet, I feel like there's going to be a little bit of a learning curve and some getting used to it. But I think I just need a different style/ size/shape bonnet. I will try again.

Listen y’all. I was so excited to get this bonnet. I’ve had it in my cart for months. I’ve looked at dozens on this site, and finally settled on this one. I thought it was a safe bet to be real silk by how persistent the brand was in its statements of 100% mulberry silk, the price not being suspiciously cheap, and the 10’s of thousands of reviews, mostly very positive. First impressions: Upon opening the box the first thing I noticed was the smell. As soon as I removed the outer packaging I could smell a dollar store plastic/chemically smell that got much worse when I opened the box. I picked up the bonnet to touch and smell it, and the smell was definitely coming from the bonnet, not the packaging. The bonnet also felt just like a couple cheap synthetic satin scarves I have, which made me suspicious. The bonnet also has several threads poking out of various places and one seam that was starting to unravel. The quality of construction was mostly solid. Most edges were smooth and the seams were tight. There was just that one loose zone and several small threads poking through multiple spots. I was suspicious but I wanted it to be real so bad. I’ve waited so long to buy this and I suck at remembering to return things, so I just wanted it to work out. I put the bonnet on to check the fit and feel while looking for some instructions on how to care for it, if there’s some kind of residue on it that needs to be washed off before first use, etc. Unfortunately it didn’t come with anything of the sort, but did come with a brochure advertising more of their products, like a eye mask that is “soft on your money maker,” a pillow for “slow aging like a goddess,” and silk pajamas that are a “baby friendly design” —whatever that means. It also had an “our story” section that sounded like it written by soulless AI trying to use all the corporate marketing buzz words in as few sentences as possible. This brand is young, aggressive, confident, the best, empowering, confident, stylish, and strong! It is literally your best friend and safe space, and will be there for you at the end of a tough day. It wants to be your best friend and give you confidence “every freaking day.” It’s Zima’s world. — Is this a bonnet or a cult? Okay back to the bonnet. I have a small head and it was tight from the get go. It did have an adjustable strap, but it came at the loosest setting so I definitely wouldn’t be using that. Within a minute of wearing it my ears were itchy and my cheeks were red. By the time I was done reading the promotional material and texting a friend about the ridiculousness of it, my scalp was SWEATING. The material was double layered as advertised, but was not breathable at all. My skin was hot, itchy, and the smell was giving me a headache at that point. I took it off and pulled at some of the loose threads for a final test. I made sure to take frayed threads of the bonnet material, not the thicker threads from the seams. I wouldn’t care if the stitching was something else if main body of the bonnet was actually silk. As a natural material, silk burns and turns to ash. Synthetic materials are made of plastic fibers and melt. The first couple threads I burned melted in their entirety and my room immediately smelled like burned plastic. When I realized I should take a video for this review, they mostly melted the same way, but a couple spots seemed to resist it. I’m not sure if this is some fire retardant coating or if maybe there’s a small amount of actual silk threads woven into the material, or maybe the metal tin I was burning them on was dissipating some of the heat? Either way, the threads mostly melted like plastic and this bonnet is definitely NOT 100% SILK as advertised. Very disappointed, and tired of Amazon allowing its platform to be taken over by blatant false advertising and fraudulent companies. It’s disappointing this company has got to 10s of thousands of mostly positive reviews at the point. It makes me wonder if they have some legit products but sneak cheap fake trash into a percentage of the sales hoping it will go unnoticed? Or maybe their supplier is doing that to rip them off. Either way I don’t trust them and have no interest in letting them make it right. I’ll be returning it today so I don’t forget. I’d give this review zero stars if I could , but also have half a mind to give to five starts so more people will see this—and because Zima is my best friend now… it’s zimas word, I’m just living in it. I have mid waist long slightly wavy hair that I was growing tired of getting stuck under me when I was sleeping. Enough was enough, time to try bonnets. I have tried the Vera Mona pineapple style sleep cap - so tight I didn't even last 5 minutes before ripping it off my head. I tried the popular Yanibest bonnets, both the ties and the adjustable elastic version. The one with ties smushed my hair at the hairline and gave me a pressure spot on my forehead. The adjustable elastic version was better for my hairline but it left creases on my forehead. The elastic band also hurt my ears to sleep on. I returned all of them. I was losing hope that I'd find the one. I finally decided to try the turban style. I always avoided this kind of bonnet because it looks like it would just slip right off. To my surprise, it not only stayed on all night, it was also THE MOST COMFORTABLE bonnet out of all the ones ive tried! I agree with other reviews that it is really small which made it slightly challenging to put it on but i actually like how it is more fitted to my head. It restricts the amount of room my hair can move inside. The band is so comfortable on my forehead and doesn't leave creases. The elastic can be adjusted and is hidden in the scrunches that can also be adjusted evenly across so there aren't uncomfortable bunches. When I woke up, I knew I had found the one. My hairline was perfect, my forehead was smooth, and my hair was neat, shiny, and had no kinks. I was so happy and impressed that I had to review it immediately!

Highly recommend, great quality silk material, fits well (adjustable straps) color matches picture. Seems to protect hair and keep it soft. Good value for money and very fast delivery.

I really felt in love with this silk hair cap! I liked every detail, well quality silk and beautiful package - this cap came in a lovely box. I want to add some photos but unfortunately Amazon does not give me such possibility. I tried the cap during the night and really this made SUCH A BIG DIFFERENCE to my dry and burned hair in the morning. Normally after night my hair looks awfully but with this cap they looked just same as in the evening before bed. The colour is really nice shade of gold. I wish there was a pink option, but anyway this also works for me well. The regulation of the size is really great. I love this product, it’s literally PERFECT!

Thought this would be great to sleep in.. not. Slips off, doesn’t cover my hair when I have it in papillottes…. but: I have hair long enough to sit on, so if you have normal length hair it might be fine

J’ai les cheveux très bouclés et épais. J’ai enfin trouvé la solution pour que mes boucles soient protégées des frottements et ne ressemblent plus à rien après 2 nuits sans que j’ai à les attacher. Je gagne environ 1 à 2 jours entre 2 shampooings, (seule solution pour reformer les boucles, je ne sais pas ce que c’est que d’avoir les cheveux gras étant donnée leur nature). Le bonnet est plus efficace qu’une taie d’oreiller en soie seule (en tout cas sur cheveux bouclés). Celui-ci «maintient» la masse capillaire donc limite plus efficacement les frottements entre les chvx, ce qui réduit aussi la formation de nœuds. Taie de la même marque, même qualité, je l’utilise donc pour le simple plaisir du contact contre mon visage ! LE BONNET EN LUI-MÊME EST D’EXCELLENTE QUALITÉ ! Son principal atout est qu’il est doublé, vos cheveux ne sont pas au contact de l’envers du tissu qui n’est pas du tout satiné (normal). Donc il remplit parfaitement son rôle (contrairement à un autre modèle d’une autre marque que j’avais acheté précédemment et que je portais finalement sur l’envers pour que mes cheveux soient en contact du côté qui fait le job…👌. J’aime beaucoup le modèle en lui-même, mais cela est personnel. Pas bouffant façon charlotte de douche. Le croisement à l’avant est esthétique et original et peut être placé sur le côté. C’est comme cela que je le porte parfois même en journée avec une tenue décontractée. Le seul bémol est que lorsqu’il fait très chaud, la transpiration accumulée au dessus de la nuque ne peut s’évaporer, cette partie du crâne reposant sur l’oreiller, surtout lorsqu’on dort sur le dos comme moi. Mais cela est purement logique quand on y réfléchit. Je précise que ma chevelure volumineuse qui m’arrive au niveau des épaules est contenue confortablement dans le bonnet sans avoir à allonger l’élastique. POUR MA PART, C’EST UN SANS-FAUTE!

Estoy empezando a tomar Minoxidil y se supone que dormir con la cabeza cubierta ayuda a proteger los folículos nuevos. Bueno, pues me he despertado hoy con el mejor pelo que he tenido en la vida. Suave, como peinado ya, y sin pizca de encrespamiento. Soy profesora de instituto y me lo han dicho hasta los chavales. No sé si ayudará con la caída, pero el encrespamiento me lo ha quitado de un plumazo después de años gastándome el dinero en mascarillas caras y tal. Estoy contentísima Luego: es cómodo y glamuroso, que no hace mal. Es verdad que se cae por la noche, pero prefiero eso a que apriete. Increíble, de verdad.
