Filing is important, as it takes layers of the infection off then you are left with a flat healthy nail. It’s taken me eight months of doing this to have nice toe nails back. A bit costly, a bit time consuming yes but this is the best my nails have been. I hope it works for you too! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems to deal with harder to kill fungal species well *by M***Y on 15 March 2022* The pen is a bit tricky to get the hang of - it makes a clicking sound that feels like you're breaking it when turned clockwise to make the product flow - but it's correct.It applies well and seeps into the white channels where fungus lurks easily.It has been more effective than any of the other treatments I have tried (certainly better than Scholl) but I think a lot depends on the strain of fungus you have.How long it will be effective i don't know because in my experience there is often more than one strain active and one will be able to resist it and will dominate eventually but good progress so far.The pens only have 3g which lasts about 3 weeks if several toes are affected, so it could be expensive for say 6 months, but it seems like a good combination product.
