Tecomec OEM Chainsaw chainsaw chain grinding wheel, this wheel is the size for grinding standard 3/8" and .404 pitch saw chain. The wheel size is 145mm X 22mm X 4.7mm (5-11/16" X 7/8" X 3/16") This Tecomec grinding wheel is OEM and not aftermarket! This Tecomec chainsaw chain grinding wheel fits Tecomec chain grinder models Efco FL6, Efco 136, Jolly, Super Jolly, Evo and Jolly Star. It works on Oregon chain grinder models 511A, 511AX, 109179, 620-120, 551462. Review: Broke with a bang after 2.1/2 chains ... maybe overtightened? Update - they sent me a replacement - Well, this seemed like a really nice grinding wheel. Removed metal nicely, and didn't burn the cutters unless you really lay into it. But, it made a loud scary bang on the 3rd chain, and broke into a few pieces. It might be user error, as I kinda tightened it a little more than I normally would, as I wanted to spin the disk backwards using the drill trick (which was unsuccessful so far - just unscrewed). I'll try one more disk to see if it explodes, and then call Madisons and have them send me some of theirs that I know are good. But, while it was working, it ground well, and felt super solid. Just that little breaking into pieces after 45 minutes problem. Update - next day, contacted seller, they are sending a replacement wheel - awesome quick customer service - super happy about that! Excellent product at a lower price than name brand.
Want to sharpen a chainsaw? Want to get the right tool at a lower price than name brand for the exact same product? You got it. This is packed in a cardboard, form fitting box that was shipped in a plastic envelope and survived, despite these things being known to be insanely fragile, so that's a good sign for it being sturdy and long-lasting.
