YINVA Apple Pencil Grip Skin Holder Cover Sleeve with Protective Nib Cover for iPad Pencil (1st Generation, Pink)

Nice cover, a little tricky to get on at first, but with a bit of wiggling and some persuasion it fits well. The tip covers are a little short which leaves a gap, but its not a huge issue.

A pretty unassuming generic ziplock bag contains the three parts to this Apple Pencil 2 cover; I guess I’ve been spoiled by my previous generic off brand accessories for my iPad, which came in Apple-esque boxes, but this certainly felt a bit cheap, a bit pound shop, a bit glowing LED sign reading “Phones Unlocked While-U-Wait”. Anyway, packaging isn’t everything, it’s what it contains that matters... These silicone covers are quite thin, but they don’t to me feel particularly cheap or nasty, and they don’t have the smell I would associate with cheap silicone either; so that’s good. They took a bit of work to wriggle on, as you’d expect with something that’s: A) Meant to snugly grip onto the pencil B) Stay attached C) Is made of silicone When I say “a bit of work”, I mean I was at it for a maximum of 3 minutes, admittedly being quite careful, but.. I never felt at risk of ripping through them as some other reviews have stated, nor did it feel overly difficult or unexpected. It IS kind of hard to close the gap between the end cover and the main pencil shaft cover, and but I’m quite happy with the fractions of a millimetre gap, it really doesn’t bother me and with a bit of perseverance I soon had it fairly flush (for a while anyway). The feeling of using the pencil with these on is very comfortable and they certainly add a little more grip to the pencil shaft. Pencil tapping and charging still work perfectly fine, although you do lose a little magnetic pull strength when attaching to the side, so I would imagine the pencil would have a greater tendency to be knocked off with a lighter touch than using the stock pencil uncovered. That said, I can freely move my iPad around and it doesn’t feel like it’s going to just pop off with gravity or of its own volition so, isn’t a massive issue for me. Another downside is that with this cover on, it won’t fit in my iPad case, but that was entirely expected as the case was designed with the unshrouded pencil in mind. The part I’m not sure I like is the silicone pencil tip cover. I was kind of torn about trying these out anyway, and was going to buy some seperately, but I’m not sure I like the one that comes with this set. I kind of got used to it, but wasn’t entirely convinced it was as accurate as using it without; however doing a blind test of just drawing lines with it, there wasn’t much in it; so I believe a lot of this is just in how it FEELS in use to me. It’s fine, I’m going to continue using it for the time being before I decide whether it’s something I’ll use; I considered it to be a bit of a “free gift” or an afterthought anyway, and not a major reason for me buying this set. Overall, a decent cover for a fairly low price and I certainly feel better having the expensive pencil protected somewhat now. Just take your time when installing it, applying even pressure to all sides as you wriggle it on, and you should be golden!

Great! It didnt go on well at first but there's a knack to it, I watched a video, and it ended going on much easier. Ive got the 1st gen pencil. The cover is quite soft and nice to hold now as it could make my hand ache before, and now if it falls doesnt clatter to the floor. I can also rest it on things, even the tablet without damage. Still charges with the cover on, it doesnt affect anything. Really happy, thank you.

It's a nice design and very thin - easy to put on but DIFFICULT to take off. Was wanting to try this to get a thin feel for my pen but I'm more better off without the skin sadly. Only get this if you're willing to keep the skin on.

I bought this so i would have a better grip on my apple pencil, its a cute pink colour and the charger end came with 2 colours, 1 was a matching pink and the other a soft purple which i liked alot more it also came with 2 covers for the nib which was cool. I found it easy enough to put the cover on, needed a little bit of force getting it all the way to the end but nothing to strenuous, idk how easy it is to pull off but the charger covers were easy enough to remove.

I would give this zero stars if possible ... Completely not fit for purpose. Fell apart whilst trying to put on and then was stuck.

Perfect cover for the Apple Pencil. It’s hard to get on initially but once it’s on it’s a perfect fit. Came with two nib covers and two top covers. Just a perfect cover for a great price

It is a struggle to get on the pen but at least then you know it’s not going anywhere. It’s so smooth and has such a pleasant texture. It comes with a pen tip (which I lost almost immediately). I kept chewing on the end piece, let’s hope I don’t die. For the price it is good quality but generally you can tell it’s pretty cheap. The colour was slightly off, leaning more towards a pink rather than purple but if the colour doesn’t phase you then it’s great ^^

This fits my pencil well. At first I couldn’t figure it out since it’s kind of hard to put on. I had to give it a couple of tries before it worked for me. All in all, I’m satisfied. Pros: You need not remove the cover since it charges with my ipad. Does the job though, keep your pencil from scratches and all that. Cons: - Hard to put on, need a good technique and patience with that. - You need a case where the charging port is open (like those magnetic ones) because i tried it with my case where it’s enclosed on all sides and it doesn’t charge. It will stick, but won’t charge.

I really liked this!!! I was a little bit hard to put at the end, but once it was on it looks great! I recommend cleaning your pencil with those cleaning tissues you use for glasses. Then i pushed the bottom and pushed with my hand trough the pencil to the top and each time it went in a little bit more, i don’t know if it makes sense lol. I really like it, i don’t think I’ll be using the tip cover because i have the paperlike screen on my ipad and i prefer that feeling when i write, but it’s great protection in case you drop it i guess. It came with a purple cap cover in case you want to mix it, but i think that once the case is on the only way out is to rip it because it’s really snug

Compré esta funda para evitar que el apple pencil me lastime el dedo a la hora de dibujar en el ipad. Debido a que es de silicona blanda, ha cumplido con su función, sin embargo, no puedo cargar el apple pencil con la carcasa de mi ipad puesta, como lo hacia antes, porque con esta funda de silicona el apple pencil no hace contacto. También fue un poco complicado deslizar la funda sobre el apple pencil, tuve que poner un poco de maizena para que deslizara.
