Tennis Strokes and Tactics: Improve Your Game

I am a USTA 4.5 level player and I found this book very helpful to my game. The photos from different angles really show you how to accurately position your body and racket. It is really an excellent book to tune up your game. I think the book is well written and very easy to understand. Most of all, it is fun to read.

I'll certainly be able to improve my tennis game. The photos are very well done. Very didactic and the commentaries are very well made.

The layout and images in this book are so good, you'd think it was a fancy travel guide. The tactics section was not nearly as strong. This is a great book for those who want good technique for shots and strokes demonstrated clearly. If you've had a lot of lessons or read other books, there's not as much new material, but you may want it for a reference guide.

This book does a great job of showing how to position yourself and how to strike and finish off various tennis strokes. I am a 4.0 player and still find myself referring to it from time to time. For me, this is just another helpful tool in improving my game. If you are at a beginner level and are not taking lessons I believe this would be quite helpful to teach yourself and to analyze proper form for the various tennis shots.

Very good book. Packed with explanatory illustrations, easy to understand for various levels.With very clear explanation of the mechanics of movement. I recommend.

great purchase the shots and strokes are laid out in a sequence so you can follow from beginning to end .. good photographs clear and easy to understand whats being exsplained.. as a struggling tennis player I am very glad to have picked up a copy has been well received around club house

The book recommended by a colleague. I was skeptical at first as it's normally difficult to learn certain sports from a book. However, I found this book really helpful especially the photographs from the different angles. Also, the tips in the back of the book are helpful.

I bought this for my son. It has lots of pictures showing grips and stokes. The instructions are clear. It is something you can either read through or dip into. I "looked inside" a bunch of books and this was by far the best around.
