Despite some reviews, the components are much better than I expected. The rope is easy on the hands and I did not sense much stretching. I recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The rope included will need to be replaced. *by P***S on August 6, 2022* I bought this to help move large bulky items into my attic. It does work fairly well for this. However, the rope included is only good for about 10 feet. The weight/pull reduction of the system works well, but the quality of the rope and length are questionable at best. The rope that came with my unit is not very solid, has bumps where the rope itself is flawed and definitely not long enough. I mounted a 2x6 across 2 attic rafters over the opening down into the garage. With the rope switched down to 3 pulleys it was still about 4 feet short of where I needed it to be. The rope also does not feel nor look to be all that safe or sturdy. While the pulley system is rated for 4000 pounds I would question if the rope itself would be safe at half of that. The straps though appear to be quite good for what they are designed for.
