One great knife
I bought the whole set just to get one knife out of there. To me this one knife is worth the money. It is a favorite in my kitchen. The knives are thin so not a really great set of knives but if you find one knife in the set you like then it's money well spent.

Not worth the $10!
I purchased a set of these knives at a home show about 10 years ago. They performed well but they were a little thin so I tried other sets. When in need of knives again I saw these on Amazon, so I bought more. These are NOT the same quality of knives I bought 10 years ago. I have had this set for almost 2 weeks, the first steak knife broke cutting an avocado, the second cutting a block of cheese, the third at dinner on a chicken breast. DONT WASTE YOUR $10!

No quite the quality I wanted...

I guess, you get what you pay for.
I bought them because they were cheap! And yup, the quality was too. I couldn't use the knife properly. It is so thin and flexible. If you try using them, it sways the other way. As I said, you get what you paid for. This many knives (good ones) for such a price is seriously unbelievable.

bang for buck
this is a good bargain knife set, not very durable but who cares you will use it for a few years.

I will buy these knives again if they are on the market
I love these knives. They cut beautifully and are light weight. I will buy these knives again if they are on the market.

These knives are not sturdy like the original Shappu 2000 that were sold years ago. The knives that I bought a few weeks ago are very flimsy. One of my knives broke while cutting cheese. The metal separated from the plastic. I returned the knives for a full refund. I was disappointed to find the knives so flimsy, as I was hoping to add to my collection that I had purchased years ago. I am not sure if the manufacture changed or the quality, but either way....I found these knives worthless.

what do you want for $10? let me tell you...
these knives will get you through the day...maybe for a few months. for me...I had these knives for 4 years and I only have the last four from the right left (because they are the least used) they are very sharp to say the least, even now. I blew $10 on lesser things but I got my money's worth out of these. save the shipping and see if you can get them from walmart like I did. they may rust a little and they WILL break from the handle. but it's 10 dollars...it is what it is.
