Works like a charm. Straight cuts every time

Not great...
I don't really like the way these attach. You don't just line them up and pull down on the lever...you actually have to squeeze down on the top lever to lock it in place, then you secure it with the lever clamp at the bottom. Personally, I wouldn't buy these again. Next time I'll just get the regular/standard straight edge and clamp it down myself.

Sub par based on my expectations
I purchased two similar clamps maybe 12 to 15 years ago from a company 'tru grip' that may not be around any more. I am biased towards the quality of these as they are substantial extruded aluminum and have exceptionally worked very well over the years. They have held their straight edge. I still use those clamps.I needed more of these clamps but since I couldn't find those original ones, I bought these Bora clamps. The Bora ones are very thin gauge aluminum that you can twist easily with your hands. They do have a good straight edge but with the flimsy gauge, I won't be surprised if they quickly get bent or badly dinged from use. Also the clamp heads are deep (vertically) - something like 1-1/2 inches maybe. My original ones had a low profile clamp that could grab the end of a 5/8 inch sheet of plywood without lifting the work piece. The Bora clamps would lift such a sheet up off the supporting table or otherwise require putting blocks under the work piece. Finally, the clamps shipped in their original box without any padding at all. They were strapped together with wire ties, two of which had already snapped before I even opened the box. With the sliding and banging around these could go thru in shipping, it seems like there would be pretty high odds you would receive them damaged. I was lucky in that mine arrived intact.I would not buy these again unless it was shown that they had improved the design.

Best Fence I Can Get
With no space or funding for a table saw, these clamp edges are a life saver. I have used them a couple times for ripping both plywood and MDF. Lining up both ends just right is a little challenging but if you take your time and learn the nuances of the clamps, they work really well for guiding at least a circular saw. Are these as fast as a table saw? Not even close, but they do the job well for me.

Save your money and find another set of clamps.
Let's start with the first order I received for Christmas this year. The 50" clamp and 36" clamp don't slide correctly and the "ratchets" keep engaging prematurely when you don't want them too. The 24" clamp does though however work correctly so far, but knowing the other two don't, I'm hesitant over how long I can expect this one will last before binding up like the other ones do.I decided to return these to amazon.com because lets face it, $75+ for one out of three working clamps is hard to swallow. I asked for an exchange and received the new set about 4-5 days later and guess what, the 36" clamp works as expected but the 24" and 50" work exactly like the fist set did...NOT VERY WELL.This time I emailed affinitytool (makers of this bora clamp) and explained the situation. They were nice and came to the conclusion that these must be getting damaged in shipping and ruled out operator error (didn't think I was an idiot here thankfully) and insisted on sending me out two free clamps to replace the ones that weren't working correctly.I eventually received the two "freebees" from the factory and guess what, they work just as poorly as the two from the first order and two from the second order that I got! At this point I'm getting upset that I've spent more time repackaging clamps and tracking purchases and credits than spending time in my shop. So I decided to return the clamps from amazon.com back to amazon, and send a follow up email back to affinitytool advising them that I didn't have space in my shop to hang inadequate tools in it...am still waiting for a response on that one to see if they want these piles of crap back.Long story short is that while I haven't found any "better" clamps like this yet or I'd make a recommendation here, I need to try to convince others that you will too most likely become disappointed in purchasing these clamps for your shop or business.

which is better than anywhere else
Exactly what I expected. For their price, which is better than anywhere else, and free shipping, these are an excellent deal. Easy to use, good clamping capability (remember these are to establish a straight-edge, not hold something together - use proper clamps). I had a few doubts by reading some reviews, but I can assure you these are fantastic, so long as you use them for their intended purpose.

Not happy with them
One was dented and the handle was broken. Not happy with them. The money I paid was too much for the product.

Nicely made, and serve the purpose.
Although the box looked pretty rough when it arrived the edge clamps look fine. That might be a testiment to the sturdiness of the straight edge. I haven't explored all the uses I might have for them, but I am convinced that my cutting plywood with a circular saw has just become much easier. This should be quite helpful with my router as well.
