I installed these clamps on a homemade box for some fragile electronics. It comes with everything you need and is super easy to install. They really don't rattle, and they are small but STURDY. I can't tell you how safe I feel with these clamps. The box they are on is made out of 1/2" plywood, is a decent size, with dense foam lining the inside and heavy items inside, with a piano hinge on the other side, the box has been manhandled and shaken but these clamps keep it shut! It also very nicely incorporates a hole to place a lock, although not a big hole, it's perfect for my needs and fits your standard TSA combination lock perfectly. You might think they are pricey compared to other CHEAP brands, but when you value the items under the clamp, would you really want to cheap out? These are an awesome set, you won't regret it.

These are high quality lock-down clamps, of use anywhere you want to secure a cupboard door etc. without any annoying rattling. I'm using them in my boat, to latch hinged doors I made under the seats for additional storage. You can't use anything like hooks-and-eyes because they shake-rattle-and-roll, and that can drive you crazy. These are engineered in stainless steel and I expect many years of use. They'd also be great in an RV or camper -- anywhere you want to ensure that doors don't fly open and stuff fall out while you are underway.

Trying to latch closed the console I built for a very special project boat. I should have known these would t work. It might but you’ll have to run a pin, padlock or something in the hole to make it stay closed but won’t on it’s on without something u slightly. This is a very special project boat and now I have the holes already so I have to make the best of it til I can figure something else out. Trying not to cry
