They are pretty light and may float. I have not tried that. No holes in them

Hot water with a small amount of Mr Clean

when squished will the squishes return to regular shape or have a bump or mark?

Return to regular shape but they get dirty very fast just by playing with them. We kind of wash during bath time as an activity. I give to him after naps or in am as a reward for good behavior. He looks forward to getting them
