I have been using this product for years now and its the only thing I use on my face. I don't use any foundation makeup or other creams, astringents, etc. I put this on in the morning with some eye makeup and that it. It doesn't leave my face greasy. In fact it leaves my face looking younger and healthier. When people ask what I use for my skin treatment, I say Rosehip Oil. Its a great value for the money and I love how it makes my skin look.

I purchased this because I've heard amazing things about rosehip oil's anti-aging properties, and my sister uses rosehip oil to help fade dark spots on her face. My arms and chest have gotten a sort of semi-permanent tan due to sun exposure, and the skin on my arms has started to become a bit saggy, so I thought I'd give this a try. When I received it I thought there was something wrong with it because it is a bright orange color, but after a quick search on the Internet I discovered that this is actually what you want in rosehip oil, because it indicates purest quality. I've been using it for two weeks now in the mornings and evenings and the results are pretty amazing. My arms and chest are noticeably lighter in color, and the skin on my arms has firmed up so much that I almost can't believe it. I wish I'd taken pictures before I started using it so I could show how amazing this product is. Because of the bright orange color of the oil, you really do have to apply it sparingly so that it won't color your skin. I usually put about 5 drops in my palm and rub my hands together, then rub the oil on my arms. Repeat, and rub it on my chest and the back and sides of my neck where I have really bad sun spots. I haven't noticed any fading of the sun spots on my neck yet, but I have a lot of hope that this product will lighten them up. I think it'll just take more time there. It doesn't feel like I'm getting much oil on my skin, so sometimes I will repeat these steps a second time after the oil has soaked in a bit. This small amount will give your skin a light rosy glow, rather than an orange tint. I'd like to try blending this oil with a carrier oil so I can feel like I'm getting better coverage. Oh, and it does have a rather distinctive odor. Sort of nutty, sort of oily. It's not strong, and it does fade away after a bit. Anyway, I'm very happy with my purchase and think it's a great value, as it's a pretty big bottle and was only about $12 when I bought it. A little bit goes a long way, so I'm sure this will last me a long time.

Let me start by saying health and skincare products are notorious for fake reviews. Even a verified purchase is often reviewed in broken English and was given the product at a discount or for free. Have you ever noticed that health and skin products have dozens, sometimes hundreds of user uploaded pictures that are pointless shots of the product and never the results? Common sign of people reviewing a product in exchange for more free products. "Fair" reviews are rare when a discount is given. Companies don't want fair reviews. That said, I still take gambles from time to time, and this item was cheap enough to take a desperate risk on. My oil is not as dark as other reviewers. It has no noticeable odor like real rosehip is supposedly supposed to have. It doesn't stain my ghostly pale skin, not even for a second. I've woken up 3 to 5 times a week for years on end with dry, red irritated T Zone. Itchy, hot, flaking so much it looked like a snowstorm when I talked or ate food. Brushing "dandruff " out of ny beard for 10 minutes until realizing it's never ending. I'd barely visit my friends or go grocery shopping because the embarrassing stares were not fun. My social life revolved around whether or not my face looked normal or not that particular day. After 1 week of using 4 to 5 drops morning and night my skin feels tight, the redness is non existent most days, I can see my freckles on my cheeks that must've been hidden under dead red skin, and the unbearable itch is gone! I've also been using an oatmeal and honey mask once a week, and oatmeal honey scrub once a week and it's been the perfect combo for my face. I didn't have access to this oil for 3 days and sure enough my face got irritated and dry again. Looks like I'll be using this daily for life, but at this price it's no big deal; it will last 6 months at least. Oh and I rub some into my lips while moisturizing my face and it keeps them super smooth all day.

I have been using this on my face for a few months now and I absolutely love it. Definitely will buy again. I have a dry face prone to hormonal acne, so this does wonders for my skin. I sometimes don't even aply my face lotion after, since my face feels hydrated.

I do not often write reviews but now and again I feel compelled to let others know if a product is worth it. This Rosehip oil is one of the best I have ever used. I have tried many other different Rosehip oils from different people and was beginning to wonder what all the fuss was about using it for skin. Then I tried this one and was amazed. The quality is undeniable, I have mature menopausal skin and this seems to brighten and moisturise without leaving my skin oily. I have used it in combination with creams but find it best on its own. After a few months use, I am sure my fine lines have diminished as well. If you want a natural way of enhancing skin I recommend to try this.
