Review: Super easy to install on your own! - I’ve used window film in most of the residences I’ve lived in over the past 5–7 years, and this is easily one of the best versions I’ve used. More importantly, it has been the easiest to install. The film comes on a long roll, which makes it especially useful for larger windows and sliding glass doors. I’ve used full-length pieces on sliding glass doors as well as smaller sections cut to fit individual windows. What really sets this film apart for me is the material itself. It’s a substantially thicker vinyl than many of the window films I’ve used. It has enough body that, when rolled up, the roll can actually stand upright on its own rather than simply collapsing or folding over. I’ve included a photo of the roll to give you an idea of the thickness. I’m currently replacing some window tint that a former resident left on the windows in my home. As you can see in the photos, that thinner material has uneven edges and doesn’t line up particularly well. The thicker material of this film is much easier for me to position and gives me a cleaner, more finished-looking installation. One installation tip: use a good straightedge and a sharp blade when cutting it. The extra thickness is one of the things I like most about the product, but it also means getting a perfectly straight cut freehand can be difficult. I also learned one lesson the hard way: keep the roll away from heat before you install it. I once bought a roll, left it sitting on a windowsill while waiting to install it, completely forgot about it, and the heat eventually warped the material. I liked the product enough that I bought the same brand again, but now I make sure any unused film is stored away from windows and other heat sources. Once installed on the glass, however, I haven’t had that problem at all. The mirrored surface reflects heat, and the film has remained perfectly in place. The mirrored version gives the exterior of the windows a clean, reflective appearance while providing excellent daytime privacy. It also helps reflect heat, which is especially useful on windows receiving a lot of direct sun. As with any mirrored privacy film, the privacy effect changes at night. If it’s dark outside and your lights are on inside, people can see in. I simply close my sheer curtains in the evening, so this hasn’t been an issue for me. Another major advantage is that the film isn’t permanent. It can be removed, rolled up, and reused. As someone who rents, I really appreciate being able to remove it without permanently altering the windows and potentially take it with me when I move. After years of trying different window films, this one stands out for its thickness, ease of installation, clean appearance, daytime privacy, heat reflection, and removability. I ruined my first roll by storing it improperly and still went back and bought the same product again. Now I’m actually replacing other window tint in my home with it. I think that probably says more about how much I like it than anything else.

It is very easy to install with one person and sticks easily. It is very pretty even when not in direct sunlight. It definitely provides enough privacy for the rooms I used it in. If it is dark and you are outside, you can see shapes of people through the window but no details. Very pretty rainbow effect when it gets direct sunlight! **Q: I have my cat's hammock on this window that I want covered, will her hammock still work/stick to this film safely?**
A: First, Haton on my second order sent me 5 Scraps waded up in a bag, use different company. Second, no it won't work as it will probably not stick directly to it and/or pull it off eventually 'if' it did stick, but doubt it sticks as it has a texture to it. You could cut around the hammock attaching area. I would recommend putting film on the opposite side of the glass of the hammock. Film looks best on the viewing side but still ok on opposite side.

**Q: Does the brown color option still make rainbows when sun is shining through it?**
A: Yes the rainbows comes thru beautiful..try to get a picture of it but couldn't do it...

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREATLY surpassed every expectation!! I'm so in love.

This is long and vulnerable, but please read if you're hesitant on purchasing this. First, this was an overall amazing experience and an extremely cheap way to add privacy to my windows. I have realized I am my neighbors' "ugly naked guy" (if you have seen FRIENDS, you know what I'm talking about 🤣) because I walk in the kitchen at night, not thinking, and they are sitting in their livingroom looking straight through my door. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Installation process was so easy that my 7 year old did a couple windows on his own. It is cling film, not adhesive, so it's a LOT easier to work with. Just clean the window, spray a LOT of water on it, put the film on, an squeegee air bubbles. If you mess up, you can lift it up and start over however many times you need. After it sits and the water dries, it stays put. The other part of my review is pretty personal, but here goes... My mother passed away last year. She was my best friend and I have been having an unbelievably hard time getting through each day. My depression and grief have consumed me and I have not been able to find anything that brings me much happiness. This is going to sound dramatic, but this window film has brought me SO MUCH JOY. It casts the most beautiful rainbow through the whole house. After installing, that evening, the sun was setting and the rainbow was cast down the hall and STRAIGHT onto my momma's urn. I literally cried. It is the most calming and beautiful way to end the day. The rainbow casted from the sunrise is just as amazing. I love making my coffee and cleaning my kitchen up in the mornings while watching the rainbow move across the room. Having this on my windows has been the best and only thing I have found to bring me true, genuine joy in a time of such deep sadness and pain. It has far surpassed every expectation I could have and I can NOT express how grateful I am. I am buying more in a bigger size to redo the bigger windows so there aren't seams. You can't see them unless you look very closely, but I'm too OCD and it bothers me knowing they're there. The designs are easy to line up, though, if you do have a seam. If you are like me and it will bother you, just go ahead and get the size that will fit the length and width of your windows. I have added pictures of daytime, nighttime, sunrise, sunset, inside, and outside of the windows. The window where the top window is done and bottom is not is the window with the seam in the film because it was too narrow to cover in one strip.
