I bought this laptop for college and wow! It’s such a great little laptop especially for the price that it was!!! I even play Sims on it too! No problems whatsoever. Not slow. Not glitchy. Sooooo happy with my purchase!!!!!

Not worth the hassle. Bought one and it wouldn’t hold a charge and ran a diagnostic and needed a battery replacement. Customer support send me another one and once it arrived it had the same issue. Definitely returning. Do not BUY!!!

my moms friend wants a new computer and she asked me to help with that. So I searched online for a laptop under $500 if possible that was fast and was a name brand that I've owned before. I wasn't sure about AMD Athlon silver processor but did research and found out its not the best but not the worst. I bought a laptop 5 yrs ago with a AMD Athlon and it was very slow, but that was 5 yrs ago so I took a chance and so far it seems fast enough to surf web and do basic computing. I did want a 15" screen but for the price and specs most of my options where only 13" but its fine. there was a off brand for $100 less but I didnt want to go with an off brand that I never heard of. This laptop I was able to switch to Win 10 home edition from s edition that came with it, it was fast and easy. s edition blocks 3rd party software from being installed so if its not in the Microsoft store it won't install with S mode.

Definitely worth the money. I also like that you can add extra ram to it. Would buy again!

This was purchased as a Christmas gift. My mother had some problems with it and unable to fix it. Whatever the issue is she just has to shut the computer down and restart it and didn't feel like going through the hassle of returning it.

The webcam wasn't working when we got the laptop out of the box. HP tech support confirmed they would need to bring it in for a repair. A week later it was returned, with the repair comments saying everything was "extensively tested", but while the webcam now works, the quality is terrible. Not blurry--and there's no plastic cover on it--but very grainy, like a cell phone camera gets when it's dealing with shooting in low light, even when every light in the room is on. Certainly nowhere near as good an image as other, older laptops we own (and this is a far newer machine, so if anything, should be an improvement on older equipment). Another chat with HP tech support confirmed that it would have to be sent in again for further repair work. That's when we decided to just return it for a refund. We've had HP products before and they've all been solid. No idea why this one is a lemon, but it's extremely disappointing that this was shipped malfunctioning and was still badly subpar even after it was "fixed".

use is for general daily things its fairly fast good picture not a bad unit.
