Review: A Must Have for Rabbit Kit - I’ve been buying this for my Holland Lop for 2 years now. I’ve tried other brands because I wanted to see if there were any that were had more hay cubes for a lower price. There isn’t. This one is the best in terms of quality, it’s tough enough to help with their teeth, and doesn’t come apart easily. Price is reasonable. The only downside is that with one rabbit a bag will last you a week, so I buy 4 at a time, and the cubes come in various sizes.

The ones that won't break apart and are too hard are incredibly smooth on the outside while the ones that I used to get back in 2024 summer have a slight fuzzy hay texture and could be broken apart. So basically from October 2024 till March 2025, I had to throw away at least 1/3 of the sticks. I know that exchanging them wouldn't make a difference since it looks like it's all been coming from the same batch.

**Q: I don't see the ingredients list. Do the cubes contain anything else other than hay?**
A: As far as I can tell its only Timothy Hay and my 7 bunnies love them.  Sometimes you can find the cubes mixed with Lavender which is fine. I volunteer at a rabbit rescue and we use and sell these same cubes, we wouldn't use them if there were other ingredients.

**Q: How many cubes are in a bag?**
A: Depends on how many they can fit into the bag. There's not a exact answer on how many in there.

**Q: It says treats. I'm looking for plain hay cubes to use daily instead of loose, messy hay. Are these plain and won't cause weight gain?**
A: No they are not plain Timothy hay which would be fine .Unfortunately this product contains Alfalfa which ,may cause all kinds of urinary problems especially in guinea pigs who are prone to urine sludge and bladder and kidney stones when Alfalfa is in their diet.

**Q: Is this piggy approved? My piggies likes to much on things**
A: i've given this to both guinea pigs i've owned and they love love LOVED it!!  they weren't huge on treats and chew sticks but they were all over this.  My rescue pig was super timid and hid if anyone was around but he would come out of his house for this stuff.  Wouldn't say it's a substitute from giving them real timothy hay but it's a really good treat.
