Solid cast pot
I did not buy this for BBQ, I bought it as a small cast iron lead melting pot for casting. It works like a charm for that. It is solid, well made and I am happy with it.

Perfect size.
So great for small amounts of sauce. We use cast iron a lot.And this comes in handy for a small amounts, even on the grill.

Not bad, pebbly tho
Nicely made, though the pan is a little pebbly. I had to smooth it out with a dremel to get it where I wanted it to be. Great for garlic butter.

Cast iron - great for induction
I love this tiny little pan. Unfortunately, my induction cooktop doesn't recognize it (that's my cooktop's failure, not the pan). When I use it on my portable induction or over fire, it's great. On the grill I use it for melted butter or basting sauce. In the kitchen, it makes a perfectly round egg for egg muffins - i like the egg a little smaller than the muffin so it doesn't all squish out.

Exactly what I ordered.
I didn't order this to melt butter. I ordered it to melt pewter. The silicone brush was a bonus. That said, it's a nice piece of cast iron that should work very well if you season it by the included instructions.

It's rough but it's cast iron!
I've read some reviews that the pot was rough on the inside more so than on the outside. That is definitely true. I've never seen cast-iron quite this rough in texture on the inside or the outside. It's uniform and raised almost like bumps. That being said I don't care. It's cast-iron. That texture is cast in iron it's meant to be used over and over and withstand lots of heat and abuse. The fact that it's a little rough on the inside doesn't affect how it's used and certainly wouldn't affect cooking with it . Funny I bought the same pot in an 8 oz size as well and it's completely smooth like most cast iron inside and out.

Muy útil.
Fue un regalo para mi esposo que ama hacer BBQ en casa. Es pequeña pero muy útil. Es importante lavarla, secarla bien y al guardarla protegerla con algún tipo de aceite de coco, pam etc.

Just what I wanted to leave sitting on the bbq. Just top it up with bbq sauce, will remain very hot!🥵 Easy to scrub out
