What size energizer would I need for 1 roll of netting to keep ducks in and small dogs out?

We recommend a low impedance energizer that "outputs" a minimum of .25 joules per roll of netting. The number of joules that is "output" by an energizer will usually be found on the unit or packaging. If not, you may need to contact the company that manufactures the energizer for the rating. Will it keep out snakes and mice?

No, it will not work for snakes or mice. The bottom horizontal strand is not energized and bottom row openings are 2" x 3".

what product would be good to keep people out of my yard?

A motion activated spray system that sprays mace instead of air freshener would probably do it. Or, motion activated laser sights that can track movement - so that the little red dot shows up on the persons chest and moves with them until they are outside your yard. I would say motion activated loudspeakers that yell at them, but, really, that would just lead to annoying you after awhile (coming from someone who would trigger it intentionally once I knew what it was).
