I use these gloves to handle tools that have just been brazed. The tools I handle end up being around 120C or 250F. Can’t handle them for extended periods, but works great for my purposes. The nubs makes a satisfying noise when you rub your palms together

I was excited to get these gloves to use at work. I loved the fit and the grip with these gloves. I was a bit disappointed that the back side of the gloves offer little protection from direct heat. I am a Extruder Operator that works with hot dies and plastics all day. The other main issue I have with the glove is that after only 5 months of use, the seems on my dominant hand are coming apart which leaves parts of my fingers exposed. For $50 dollars i expected them to last a bit longer. Probably will not buy again :(

Do not purchase these gloves for MIG welding or use with a grinder. Sparks burnt through synthetic material on first use with grinder. Material on the palms is constrictive and bulky.

I am a beginner welder and never liked the feel of those big loose leather gloves. Could never get a good grip with those. After using these, I'll never go back! They protect from heat and the inner hand part is textured, giving me a nice grip on the clamps/holders. The wrist is slightly elastic so the hugs my wrist nicely. I use heat sleeves with this to protect my arms. Great combo!

They were a Christmas gift and pretty expensive especially because they appear to be too small.

If you know my other reviews I’m an amateur welder, MIG, TIG, stick, plasma - I went though a couple pairs of nice Mechanix while teaching myself TIG welding, they’re dead now, gone to the hole-y place. Hey why not some heat resistance then? I’m sure warming my hands will get less as my TIG skills improve, but I would NOT recommend for TIG, trade off from high heat resistance is dexterity which I personally want for TIG welding, I’ve used these plasma cutting and stick, and they’re awesome - I actually just ran through a bunch of plasma pipe cutting, high volume, which I inevitably grabbed a fresh cut end or two and barely noticed - you don’t want to hold onto something super hot, there’s a little chart on temp vs time (in seconds) before you need to worry so moving around hot pipe, gross exhaust work, even grabbing a burning log from the fire pit, no worries - doing detailed work, anything requiring precision movement not so much - plus sizes run a little small/tight but even then with these broke in now anything super heat resistant and thin for dexterity just isn’t out there yet from what I’ve seen.

Do not buy these if you intend to send Snapchat while wearing gloves... That's foolish. These babies are hands down the best high temp gloves for the price point. They hold up to oil and 300 degree metal pretty well.

I deal a lot with hot lights in a photography studio setting. The lights can literally burn your fingerprints off. These gloves have 100% protected my hands. They are slightly big but that's my fault for overestimating the size of my hands.
