They are a nice deep chocolate colour which matches my brown sofa, and have tiny rubber grippers on the underside so they don't slip and the top is so soft and padded enough so the cats cant scratch through. I haven't washed them yet but the seller recommended a gentle wash cycle which was helpful. They are so well made I am sure I will have them for a long time.
