Complete mystery was in car made call no issues, 2 hours latter used phone still in car broken lens. Best of my knowledge having the phone on my belt in the otter box case the seat belt must of been putting pressure on it? Unfortunately the otter box cases do not protect these camera lenses. I have been a otter box user from many manufacturers years. First time a phone of mine got damaged while using it. Anyway replacing the lens is pretty straight fwd if you have any common sense! If not watch the you tube videos then take you phone to repair place! Seriously this is a easy 15 minute fix! The kit comes with everything, except the hair dryer! Turn your phone off, put it face down on something to protect it, remove it from any case. Slowly start heating the broken camera lens especially around the break as this is where you will start to peel/break away the old lens. NOTE! you will not get the broken lens off in 1 or 4 or 5 pieces its glass its already broken, just start working it with the included tweezers etc. While keeping the heat applied it took me about 5 to 7 minutes of high angled heat to soften the glue, once you get it soft the rest will come up. Use the included scrapper to ensure all remains are out if the area. BE CAREFUL NOT TO HIT THE ZOOM! OR YOU WILL HAVE BLURRY PICS! once you have it all removed and cleaned up. Turn your phone on check you camera ensure its clear and not blurry, DO NOT FOCUS OR ZOOM! If you have a clear screen on the camera turn phone back off. Use the cleaning pads and clean the area for the new lens. Look at the back of the pull tab to expose the adhesive side you will see which way to remove it so you do not touch the lens! Simply line it up and angle it down press gently around the edges of the lens, DO NOT PUSH HARD OR DIRECTLY ON THE CENTER OF THE LENS OR YOU WILL SCREW UP YOUR ZOOM HOME SETTING AND END UP WITH BLURRY PICS.Turn your phone back on and again check your camera clarity. Your base zoom should be clear. If not you screwed up! You will have to remove it and try again. The zoom on these cameras are very very delicate and can easily be knocked out of the home position. If you can not follow the steps correctly you will screw it up. It us not a issue with the replacement lens but a user issue.
